Stopped for a beer, nice bar, beautiful restaurant, great staff. Did not try the food but very nice place especially the outdoor patio. Would recommend.

Food - 3/10 Detail: Started with Philly egg rolls. Tasted as if microwaved. Sauce: 90% water. Thought I was being pranked by bar staff. Two burgers (mine ordered medium). Hockey puck - grey center. Bacon - 100% microwaved.
Service - Service was par. Reason for 3 star rating was that the bar staff was aware that we were unsatisfied and chose to hang in the corner as a bunch of high schoolers instead of asking a single question about our experience.
Other comments: Overpriced and unfriendly. This was my first time back in several years and I was very disappointed in what used to be a go-to spot.

Just had dinner at the red rooster. The food was okay. However, the prices are ridiculously expensive.
Won't go back again. Not worth the money. No atmosphere.

I arrived and they took our order then made me wait 30 mins until we had to ask for the bill and leave without eating our main course because we were fed up with being ignored.

This is a great pubby restaurant. We have been there several times. I hate to ding them but on our last visit, my wife ordered the French Dip - she was in the mood. The server dutifully took the order and then delivered the entree with - wait for it - NO DIP! Like, what? They explained they "ran out of dip". How is that possible? Like ordering a BLT and getting toast w/mayo & lettuce and your server shrugging their shoulders telling you they're out of bacon. This type of disconnect between staff & customers is a bad sign. A sign that someone is just trying to get through their shift. I ordered a pulled-pork Sammy that was pretty good and did indeed have pulled pork between the buns. The onion rings were enjoyed as well. But note to the staff: if you're out of key items that make up the menu - please inform your guests - BEFORE HAND!
Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry from the parking lot.

Shared. Mashed potato pizza with a friend. It was delicious. The service was great and server was a pleasure. We sat outside and closed the place.

Very cute place! Just a plain cheese pizza was very delicious. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was very officiant. They were out of prosecco when we were there but said they were restocking soon. I've been there twice and have enjoyed both times! I would definitely go back

Food was ok but the bill was outrageous! Almost $200 for a family of 4, one with a kids meal. Yikes!

The Atmosphere is Rustic & beautiful, the pizza is tasteless & cauliflower bites were not great either. Unfortunately we came as they were doing outside construction so the patio wasn’t opened and getting into the tavern was a pain. I would definitely go back for a drink on the patio (when it’s opened) but we will not be ordering food there again. Wish the food matched the atmosphere. Also, the young waitress wandered around on her phone a lot so service wasn’t great.

Good value in chic atmosphere. Little noisy when busy. Good pours on the wine. Big bar

Terrible food, even worse management. Bartenders are little girls who serve minors at the bar and then let them drive home.Silver and plates are filthy, milk is spoiled, and tables are never cleaned.Owners linger around drink beer from the bar and blast the music while turning the lights down so much to the point people can't read the menu.

Disappointing compared to the location in Ridgefield. The menu has many options and I think the prices are comparable to other “pubs”. Unfortunately, the quality the food was not great. We tried the Short Rib Empanadas with Tzatziki sauce which is an odd combination. The Tzatziki sauce was tasty, but the Empanadas were awful. These were fried and the flavor from the grease overpowered the short rib filling which basically was tasteless. The empanadas were served on lettuce that was going bad (see the picture). Should take more care about what leaves the kitchen.I had the Beer battered cod with coleslaw and fries. Coleslaw was awful. Nothing special about this dish and not worth the more than $20 they charge. This place has a nice outdoor seating. The walls in the entrance look old, dirty and needs to be repainted. Based on our experience I could not recommend this place.
