We have been in Newtown/Sandy Hook since 2021 and Reverie has been a critical piece of building our personal and extended community. We consider this place and the team involved in running it an extension of our home and family. We are grateful to have a location like this to share with friends and family both local and beyond!

Terrific beers and nice music

The beer and inside vibes were good but honestly so sick of kids, babies and dogs at breweries. I go to breweries to get a chill vibe and relax not be in a middle of a daycare and amusement park. It was like a freaking circus. Breweries should be for adults. Not really responsible for kids and babies to be around a bunch of drunk adults and definitely not sanitary to have dogs around on top of everything.

A great place to enjoy a cold beverage with good company. Nice variety of beers and other drinks to satisfy a variety of palates. Food trucks, live music, and other events give us plenty of excuses to keep coming back.

Stopped here on a trip from Pennsylvania to Mystic, CT. Very cool space. Bartender was incredibly friendly and gave us local recommendations. Excellent variety and excellent beers. Will happily come back if ever in the area again

Booked with Ryan for a private event. The whole process was seamless. Cooper’s hall was a great space that provided your own bar, tvs, and most important your own bathrooms. Everyone enjoyed the beverages served on tap. Our bartender was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. 5 out of 5 would recommend Reverie for any private event, or even just a pop in to have a beverage and grab food at their resident food truck!

I'm very disappointed. I love this place, and one of my favorite beers ever is the tricerahops. I was there over the weekend and bought a bunch of 4 packs. One of of the four packs was mislabeled and is not tricerahops but a different sour and reddish in color beer. Very disappointing to spend almost 20 dollars in a four pack and get a mislabeled beer (prob against health code too). Only giving three stars so the comment is seen.

This is one of the most welcoming and friendly establishments I've ever had the pleasure of entering.

The beers are fantastic, the people are fantastic, always a fun enjoyable experience.

you'd be missing out on a small town gem if you don't stop in while you're in the area, get there, enjoy beer, conversation and delicious food trucks!

Reverie Brewing is one of my favorite local breweries. The beer itself is solid and I appreciate that the brewer seems to take some chances trying out new things. I'm usually partial to NEIPA, but find that their Hefeweizen is one of my favorite versions, and the Washington Sour is tasty too - refreshing, but not so sour that you feel like you've lost all your tooth enamel by the end of the pint. There's a good chance that you won't like *all* of their beers because of the variety, but they are happy to let you try them before you get a full pour and you might discover an unexpected favorite in a new style.

In my opinion, the thing that really makes Reverie stand out is their events. Lots of breweries have music, but Reverie is one of the few in the area who regularly hosts bands playing original music. They also have a running club which is well-attended and fun, and an excellent trivia night. And their staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.
