Literally my favorite errand of the week (yes i go at least once a week lol) The best baked goods around! The mushroom quiche and the pecan roll are my favorites :) And i always have a loaf of their sourdough on the counter!

Ham and cheese “croissants” have changed since the first time I purchased. Originally, it was a croissant stuffed with ham and cheese and decent. Now it is rolled like a cinnamon roll not much ham or cheese and tastes like dough so ham or cheese comes through. Overpriced to begin with and with the new style wouldn’t go back for them.

Excellent, quaint bake shop with unique baked goods and decent coffee. We often pick up gift packs of assorted macarons.

For me, this place is a 2 just given how incredibly sweet everything is. I am totally sure folks like desserts to be that sweet, but just not for me. That all said, service was great (I’d rate this a 5), but just not my style.

Fantastic service, was in and out quickly, but was disappointed by the lack of meat in the turkey sandwich. There were only 3 slices of turkey, I could barely tell there was turkey at all when eating it. Definitely a disappointment for ~$11. Beautifully prepared and presented but lacking substance, literally. Coffee was great.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after finding a parking spot about a half block away, not the most convenient parking situation but it was a nice day so not wholly inconvenient. It was busy but I got my order in pretty quickly and it was out in less than 10 min. I got a Matcha made with earl grey tea, ham & cheese quiche, key lime cheesecake, and lemon tart. The quiche I highly recommend. The key lime was really good but could have been a little more tart for my taste. I enjoyed the lemon tart but I think it looked better than it tasted, maybe a little too spongey on the inside for me. All were pretty tasty and I’d definitely return as they have a fantastic dessert selection.

This place is AMAZING. Some of the best pastries I have had. If you want a great, true croissant; this is the place. It's cute and cozy so seating may be difficult, but the food is 100% worth it. Their coffee is hit or miss to me, but my bf LOVES it. He highly suggests their brown sugar bourbon!

It seems like they take pride in their baked goods. But the coffee does not share that same energy. Our lattes were too hot to drink and they must have steamed the milk for two lattes together because my wife got a full cup, and I got alot of foam, this was an issue because I didn't have enough milk to cover up their terrible espresso.

The first day we went on our trip it wasn't as bad of an experiance. So it probably has to do with a lack of consistency in their barista training.

This has all been my opinion.

We got lattes at Sift two mornings in a row since we were staying within walking distance at the Niantic Inn. The first morning our lattes were perfect! Plain hot lattes with whole milk. Perfect tempters and texture. The second day the lattes were so hot I burnt my tongue and throat on the first sip! My husband’s latte was mostly foam so the espresso/milk ratio was off making it not taste as good. Other than that the staff were very friendly and kind. The place was clean. Not a lot of seating inside tho. All the food looked delicious. I was kind of disappointed that I didn’t get my latte in a cup with the Sift logo. We asked about it on the second day and they said the yellow cups were from their original business and were trying to use them up. Made sense but was kind of sad about it.

From the moment you walk into their immaculately kept Niantic location you know the attention to detail bar scale cannot be set any higher. Every baked good looks flawlessly perfect and the taste of their goods follows suit. Yes, we are repeat customers. Paul & Judy - Higganum, CT - and yes every bit worth the 30 minute trip,

My English isn't great, but the staff were very friendly and helpful in taking my order. They weren't impatient at all. The croissants were delicious and the service was angelic. The egg salad and almond croissant are a must-try; they're totally worth it.😁
