The apricot scone was a tasty suggestion and my cheddar cheese and home fry stuffed omelette was fire. I will definitely be back at this hidden gem.

Fantastic new addition to Norfolk. Great sandwiches, baked goods, soup and coffee. The food is delicious and Peter and Marinel are delightful hosts. Now serving pizza on Saturday evening. Highly recommended.

A great gathering place for locals and out-of-towners alike. Lovely food and drinks. Sit and stay awhile or take out. The Icebox Cafe is a wonderful new addition to this town and not quite aptly named: Norfolk CT is locally known as the icebox thanks to its more than frigid temps in winter in comparison to its neighboring towns, but the owners are warm and friendly.

What a charming spot in the center of Norfolk! Both the coffee and the food are delicious. The cafe was busy, but the service was fast and efficient!

Never got to order. My husband, children and I went here following church service. We stood at the counter eager to order, waited for over 10 minutes and were completely ignored as the counter staff and chiefs socialized with friends.

I picked up coffee and a sausage biscuit this morning(I had them put jam in it 😋)
Both were fabulous!!!!! The owners are So much fun to talk to!
If you’re lucky you will be there in the rare event they serve their pancakes.
They are, by far, the Very Best Pancakes I’ve ever had!!!!

Must stop for counter culture coffee, home made brewed chai tea, scones, muffins, sourdough breads, full breakfast with hash browns, and breakfast sandwiches. Small inviting friendly. Inexpensive. Worth a stop on route 44 or even a destination before heading to Dennis Hill, Haystack, Campbell Falls. FYI: buy a loaf of just baked sourdough for $8 it’s worth it.

What a lovely addition to town! My husband and I moved here recently and were hoping for a coffee shop to open, so this is delightful. We enjoyed talking with the friendly owners and sampling a few things. Everything we ordered was positively scrummy - the chai, drip coffee, breakfast sando (add the salsa verde!), and blueberry muffin. Can't wait to return again and again. :)
