Looks amazing on the outside. Cafe in an old train station. But stay outside. Upon walking in we ordered some coffees. The lady working there literally rolled her eyes at us, complained she wasn't sure how to make a latte and had to check if there was enough milk. We left and gave our business to the much more friendly and hospitable country store down the street.

What a gem. I was ultimately beyond inspired to review because of the lovely young girl who helped my boyfriend and I --- upon asking what the wifi password was she told us with a knowing laugh and grin 'reviewusongoogle' - all lower case one word. Brilliant and cheeky!! Of course I couldn't resist. My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch - for under $20 we had a wonderful lunch - I had a philly cheesesteak he had a cheeseburger. The service was incredible and made our meal - it was a hot sunny day - we ate outside, the lovely girl brought our food out to us and took our order in the first place - both with a large genuine smile and enthusiasm. She clearly meant it when she asked if we could get anything else, and upon my request for extra mayo and mustard she not only asked if I would prefer yellow or dijon mustard - but she brought them out right away. I'm used to waitstaff prioritising extra mayo/mustard /condiment requests as 'never even happened', and either never getting them, or spending an entire meal trying to get the attention of a wayward busser whose words in any language at all skills seem to have been replaced by a state of petrification so great Medusa herself might be the patron flagging them down. Anyway our food was fantastic, as was the price and service. Highly recommend!

In a word "rude". Stopped in for an ice coffee. Woman behind the counter was irritated, curt and rude. Seemed like we were "putting her out". The ice in the coffee was a big block of ice that formed from over freezing smaller pieces. Lid wouldn't fit because of the ice. Shared our opinion and she responded... "You expect me to dance for you, I'm not the owner!" Never again and rethink your choice as well. The one star is for the temperature of the coffee. At least that was correct.

Great sandwiches, salads, coffee and tea. Always worth a stop right there in Norfolk.

Fantastic place for an upscale yet casual lunch, coffee or quick bite. Located in the old train station in the beautiful town of Norfolk, Connecticut, the Station Place Cafe is always worth a stop. (All train puns intentional.) Check out the Artisan's Guild across the street while you are there, and enjoy a perfect New England Village that is known for its warm summer days and cool nights and snowy winters. You can always warm up or cool down at the Station Place Cafe. Highly recommended.

Best lunch in Norfolk!
RUDE RUDE RUDE!!
Rude, no value of customers. No value of true locals.
Just a great place to grab a bite. Friendly owner, always clean. Great food. Love the soda selections of craft drinks.
Awesome BLT with avocado! Yes, slow wait times occasionally but well worth it!!
