Small bar with a local feel. Owned by Norm who used to run Twelve % Brewery in North Haven. Great, personable bartenders. Go see Dave Lefkin perform there (Foxtrotter/Block Island regular summer performer). Great selection of bourbon and whiskey.

North Branford needed this place badly. Norm is a phenomenal bartender, knows his alcohol and gets to know everyone at the bar. Great vibe with friends or family, can’t say anything bad about it.

Great local hangout. The staff are great. Especially Savannah ! There is no food there but there is plenty of food in the plaza around it that you can grab or even have delivered. Has a great vibe to it.And there needs to be more places like this.

Laid back awesome little place. Knowledgeable Connecticut craft beer industry veterans, always the perfect selection of local brews on tap and an awesome atmosphere.
Great little dive for a drink! It is tucked into the plaza behind the McDonalds, so if you aren't looking for it you might miss it.

Central Cafe is a great little place! Felt comfortable the minute we walked in. Everyone was very friendly. Good conversations and laughs with people you don't even know. Great atmosphere, great beer and cocktail selection, juke box, pool table and plenty of seating. We were only there for pool league but will definately be back!!!
What a great spot. It’s listed as a “dive bar,” but it is that in friendliness only. It’s clean, bright. Awesome place! And GREAT beer and whisky selection.
