wish I could give zero stars. My family and I visited Roses Orchard expecting a pleasant fall outing, but it was ruined by the woman with the overly painted face working at the front counter. She was rude, nasty, and completely unprofessional from the moment we walked in.
I politely asked about the cider donuts, and she yelled at me like I’d committed a crime. Then she started slamming boxes around, turned her back on me mid-sentence, and rolled her eyes when I tried to ask again. The worst part? She was downright nasty to my grandson, who’s excited to pick out a treat. He was visibly upset.
This woman should not be dealing with customers. Management needs to check the cameras – her behavior was appalling and on full display. She needs to be terminated immediately.
We left without donuts and without any desire to ever return. Save your money and your sanity – go somewhere else. Roses Orchard clearly doesn’t value families or basic decency.
This place is a rip off an ice cream cone is four dollars fine whatever but to have it dipped in cherry or blue raspberry berry or whatever the flavors they have that’s an extra dollar 50 so a small ice cream cone dipped with blue raspberry came out to $5.50. Burn job then they had all of the apple cider the gallons listed at four dollars. I go up to pay for it. It’s $9.90. This place is out of control disgusting my parents have been taking me here since 1985. I started taking my kids here when they were babies. This is the last orchard I will ever go to. And the pumpkins are $.93 a pound so I took them here for the Orchard experience and now we’re going to Walmart to buy pumpkins that won’t make me have to put a second mortgage on my house.
Love getting ice cream here
Visited this Place a few times with my family for the obligatory annual pumpkin pictures with my baby. Now that she's three, we returned back to grab a jar of local honey and feed the goats today. Something we did not long ago this month.
The store was bare. There was no nice friendly greeting when we walked in the door either but instead, we were ignored, and I had to go up to the woman behind the counter and ask for help. No problem there however
She was beyond rude, snarky, nasty and downright argumentative, and because of her we definitely wont return.. Being a business owner right down the street from this location.I thought it would be nice to get to know. The women and the family and the employees of rose orchard offer an incentive get to know each other.Network, do promotions, but yeah, seeing is I was just treated like scum on the bottom of her shoe.We won't return. And I definitely won't recommend it to all of my clients in branford.
And that one sad little jar of honey, that was left on your counter was there the last time I was shopping there, so it was in fact old.
Im just kind of Gobsmacked here. The customer service I just experienced is not something i'm used to at this place. So forgive me, but yeah, she was really horrible.I had a kid with me too. It's like she didn't even care.Okay, rant over two stars, You're luck your goats are cute. Customer service from this woman, 0 stars.
Went there on Sunday Oct 26 at 4:30 pm . Asked the young gentleman at the counter if there was any cider donuts his response was no sold out. My wife turned around and saw a self of 6 boxes I said hum sold out . So because we drove there for them we purchased a box then asked if we could pick apples his response was sorry closed for picking ok we ended up buying a bag . Got to the car decided to eat one of the donuts couldn’t wait. Well good thing they were hard as rocks maybe that’s why they were left. I walked back in said to the kid I want to return them another person working asked me what was wrong told him they were hard. His reponce to me in a harsh remark was go home put them in the microwave and heat them. What I wanted to say to him and what I an actually said was are you kidding me . Terrible response and attitude will never go back. Went down the street to the winery and had a delightful experience there the girls were over and above with there customer service and explained to them what experience I had at the orchards and even they couldn’t believe it. Will let others know as my business is close
Cashier shorted me $15. Had to drive back from my job in North Haven to get it once I realized it.

I ask for an apple pie with ice cream but they run out of apple pie. But it’s ok I ask for peach I was delicious.
I only went to the creamery here, but it was so good! Plenty of diverse options
We went there for the first time apple picking. I brought my two young grandchildren. Let’s just say charging $100 for one big bag and one small and I mean small bag of apples is ridiculous and disgusting. The apples didn’t even last they kept getting black spots and rotting all the way through. Worst apples ever. I sent a message letting them know and they wouldn’t even respond. As a business owner myself you expect better customer service. So disappointed and will not go back.
Their Blueberry pie is unbelievable. I don't normally eat blueberry pie but found 1/4 left at work. Immediately left work to come here to get a Cherry pie. I imagine it will be as good as the other. Oh yeah, they've got fresh ice cream and judging by the line it's probably exceptional too.
We went there for the first time and nothing on the shelves had a price on it. When we asked the cashier how much an item was she said she did not know. There was no one else around to ask. So unfortunately we did not buy anything. Sales where lost because of no prices on the shelf's or items.
