The food was average. Unfortunately their service is very very slow especially knowing that we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. The orders weren’t accurate either but we didn’t wanna say anything because it would take forever to get a new order
Bab al salam is a little treasure. We lived in New haven for 5 years and this restaurant was our greatest treat. Better than all the fancy city stuff. The food is great tastes like it would in Syria and Lebanon you could tell that they put all the work into it they do not cut corners. We now live in Zurich Switzerland and we're still missing this place and searching for something even half as good.
Bab al Salam is my go-to place for Middle Eastern food when in Orange. The food is authentic and the restaurant is impeccably clean. If you are hesitant about trying Middle Eastern, the English-speaking staff will attentively assist you in navigating the expansive menu.
