I used to go often but moved out of local area, today was close so stopped in got eggplant parm dinner & mozz med pizza to go. Glass of wine..The eggplant needed more sauce, very little but good!! Got pizza home was so overloaded with cheese was not enjoyable! Their pizzas was always excellent with right amount of cheese! Male bartender did Not find him personable at all. Did not even ask if I liked the meal or do I need anything else. They should be Trained to how to Welcome...
The overall experience was positive but underwhelming. After a couple of times of bailing out during long waits we finally caught a mid-week lull. Service and attention was above average, but couldn't make up for lackluster cuisine. Perhaps it was the cook or the slow day but was expecting more. Will give another try.
With plans falling through for some outdoor dining at another establishment due to the weather we decided to stay local. My mother was craving lasagna, so we decide to give Gabriels a shot. Everything was piping hot coming out. Service was fast and attentive. Huge portions of excellently seasoned fried calamari. I ended up going with this stuffed pork chop. I highly recommend it.
