Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

Order food for pick up last night 9/5/25 and I had the worse diarrhea and vomiting 10-15 minutes after eating only half of the food. I had the small boil and added eggs, and noodles. the eggs were old and rubbery, the food had no flavor. The food was just horrible. The pain I went through last night I definitely won’t be ordering from this place again.

Misha was a HANDS DOWN THE BEST WAITRESS WE EVER HAD! I have been working in the food industry for over 25 years so I know what to look for. She was friendly, patient, attentive and over all AMAZING! Thank you so much Misha for making our experience a great one! We will be back to see you!
One more thing I didn’t want it to affect Misha or the restaurant so we still have it 5 stars but we have had the special sauce before and this time it was a little too sweet. Maybe there was a different cook on. It wasn’t awful but just a touch too sweet. It was still good don’t get me wrong. I just wanted to give some constructive criticism to the heart of the house. Thank you Misha!

Laura was great just felt a bit in the corner it wasn’t my favorite seat. It was dark and near the kitchen. The food was great!

I had a very disappointing experience here. I originally placed a takeout order, but due to circumstances, I decided dining in would be the better option. When I asked if I could switch to dine-in, the manager, David, told me I could not. He went further to say that even if he changed his mind, I would not be served or attended to. When I asked why it wasn’t possible to simply dine in since I was purchasing my food from them, he was unable to provide an explanation. On top of that, his attitude during the interaction was very poor and unprofessional. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I left feeling very dissatisfied with the service.
