I am in love with Playa Bowl’s but couldn’t get all the way to Shelton today so I decided to try this place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The açaí bowl was OK except that they used frozen bananas instead of fresh bananas, which was a major bummer. The peanut butter was in a lump in the middle instead of drizzled which also was a bit of a disappointment. I would suggest you take a trip to Playa Bowl’s in Shelton and get some fresh ideas :-) I would come back if you guys had fresh bananas. Almond butter choice would have been great too! Price was good!

The smoothie was overpriced and watery. It wasn't even that sweet.I've got a mango smoothie and a pineapple smoothie, and they were both mediocre. I got a waffle bowl with greek yogurt.The yogurt was very sour. It was not worth the price.

Infested with flies. Very disappointed the lady making the smoothie was trying to swat the flies away. I threw the smoothie out. It did not taste good and I was grossed out by the flies would not return.

The lady who serviced me was selling spoiled smoothies. The guy before me complained about it being spoiled and she mentioned products being out of stock so she used whatever was left. Then i got my smoothie and it smelled so bad I gagged. Waste of money.

My wife was very disappointed with the service here. She ordered a Belgian waffle parfait and got something completely different than what she ordered. We would have stayed to fix it but it took about 20 min to make the thing and we didn't want to waste anymore time. They seemed very disorganized, the person that took our order seemed to not know what he was doing and the person who made our order definitely didn't know what she was doing. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Ordered an acai bowl, thought it would be 16 oz of acai it was surely not even close to 8! The acai was thinner than a smoothie consistency because the worker had multiple orders for acai bowls and made a batch of the acai, but she didn’t bother to make more to make enough for each bowl. Not only was the acai base super soupy but there was barely any nutella on it. Everything combined filled about 1/3 of the bowl. It also took almost 20 minutes to get, wouldn’t spend the money again here.

Ordered the Strawberry Gone Bananas smoothie and really enjoyed it. Service was friendly and seating was plentiful. Looking forward to going back when I'm in Orange!
They only had A few types of smoothies and the fresh juice selection was very small. Smoothie quality was ok, not much flavor. Also they only had one wellness shot. I’ve been to some really nice juice bars so my expectations were a little high. I was looking for something green, alkaline, fresh juice. They had nothing. If this was the only smoothie joint in CT I still wouldn’t go back.

Went to grab juice today, they were out of oranges, tried to order new drink merry cranberry rather , hood cranberry wasn’t in stock and is a seasonal item. Then why is it on there. Remove that and a juice place without orange is like a bank without change. Not good experience today. Won’t be returning!
