I am in love with Playa Bowl’s but couldn’t get all the way to Shelton today so I decided to try this place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The açaí bowl was OK except that they used frozen bananas instead of fresh bananas, which was a major bummer. The peanut butter was in a lump in the middle instead of drizzled which also was a bit of a disappointment.
I would suggest you take a trip to Playa Bowl’s in Shelton and get some fresh ideas :-) I would come...

Was little disappointed to start with as the store didn’t had dragon fruit smoothie bowl though they have it on their menu. So went for Açaí bowl which turned out to be good compared what I expected of Açaí. Will definitely go again.

They only had A few types of smoothies and the fresh juice selection was very small. Smoothie quality was ok, not much flavor. Also they only had one wellness shot. I’ve been to some really nice juice bars so my expectations were a little high. I was looking for something green, alkaline, fresh juice. They had nothing. If this was the only smoothie joint in CT I still wouldn’t go back.
