Great place for really good fresh Thai food.

I gave this place a small sample after a strong recommendation from a foodie friend. The pineapple rice was absolutely incredible. I am going to try everything on their menu now. This isn't your typical American Thai joint.

Ordered from this place twice. The veggie dumplings are not the "traditional" dumplings that folks are used to. They're almost like a mini quiche, sans crust. Both times we ordered pad thai from here it had absolutely no flavor. The most recent time we ordered, our food had a hair in it. Their fried egg rolls are good at least. The rest of the menu items we've tried have all been... Fine.

Wow.Wow.Wow.We dropped by Paradise Thai because the sushi place nearby was closed on a Monday. Thank God for Mondays! Dinner was delicious, flavourful, each familiar Thai dish rendered just a bit unfamiliar with a blend of spices that made each mouthful complex and so interesting. Definitely recommend. We took the food to go and have ample leftovers to continue to enjoy for a few days.

Got 4 noodle/rice dishes for take out today at around noon and it was 20-25min before pick up. Total was $51-ish. For meats, there was $2-3 upcharge. The container was pretty full so good portion size. We ate the food around an hour after pick up and everything was still warm and delicious. Each of the dishes were flavored differently and tastes authentic. The tofu pad Thai was a bit sweeter than I like but the flavor is on point. Tofu was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Yum! The chicken drunken noodle was my favorite. Savory and spicy and just really enjoyable. I love eating it with rice. There were onion and red bell pepper in this dish. The tofu pad see ew is my husband's go to dish and he enjoyed it. The veggies in this dish and drunken noodle were different though. There was broccoli. The nasi goreng fried rice was another spicy dish. There were chunks of fried egg along with bell peppers and onions. Its flavoring was mild but has a good kick. The rice also has that high wok heat taste. Yum! I'd definitely go back in the future if I was in the area.

I consider myself a bit of a Thai cuisine snob. I LOVE Thai food. This place is hands down THEE best Thai restaurant in the New Haven area. The food is fresh and tasty and the staff is super nice. Highly recommend!

Always looking for new places to try around the west haven area. The place is nicely decorated and had hand sanitizer at every table which is great during the pandemic. We ordered the fresh shrimp rolls, roasted duck curry, and pineapple fried rice with soft tofu. The fresh shrimp rolls were more lettuce than anything and would probably pass on getting it again in the future, but the peanut sauce that came with it was delicious. The roasted duck curry and pineapple fried rice were both DELICIOUS, the balance of flavors were amazing and both were cooked perfectly. I also ordered the tai iced tea and it was very delicious. The only negative comment I would say would be that the service was slow after we received our food even though we were the only people there (the staff were friendly though). Also no one told us we had to pay up front so we were just sitting there waiting for the check. Overall I would come back to eat here!

It was good, nice and spicy. The fresh spring rolls were huge, but mostly lettuce and not enough sauce for the size. I was happy they were open late

Excellent take-out from this family-run restaurant. Every dish we had was good. Pad Thai, spring rolls, coconut shrimp, basil rice, coconut soup… The freshest of ingredients. We will definitely order again.

It’s so hard to find authentic Thai food in CT. Most Thai food places aren’t run by Thai people or are too Americanized. However, as a Thai person myself , this restaurant by far has been the BEST Thai food place I’ve been to. The owners are Thai too. The Thai boat noodle soup was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the noodle shop back in Thailand in front of my moms home. The broth was a salty-slightly sweet savory broth with pho noodles. Never had anything else like that in Connecticut other than home. We also ordered the spring rolls which were crunchy on the outside and filled with veggies and clear noodles. It was deep fried fresh for us. You could definitely tell they were homemade and not store bought. It came with a authentic homemade sauce. The sauce was sweet and slightly vinegary which absolutely complimented the fried spring rolls. Most Thai places use the bottle Mae-ploy sauce , this place makes their own. I also ordered the papaya salad which was spicy and delicious. I was actually surprised on how good it was because it’s not common for This dish to be well executed other than home or at a thai family home. Customer service was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this thai place if you’re looking for some good authentic thai food!! It absolutely surprised me.

Ordered takeout and asked for medium spicy for two pad Thais . The pad Thai turned out really bland. Even my husband who orders pad Thai frequently from other Thai restaurants said it was flavorless. Disappointing and won't be ordering here again.

First time here (takeout) and great experience! Inexpensive and so good! Had Thai salad, veggie spring rolls, veggie pad thai, tofu pad see ew, vegetable massaman curry, Thai fried rice, and pad hot basil. Everything was fresh, the tofu was crispy, the noodles cooked perfectly, and the sauces/dressings were delicious! There was a touch of heat/spice in the massaman and spring rolls which I wasn't expecting but enjoyed. No MSG (I'm allergic). My entire family loved it! Our new go-to for Thai food.
