The food was just okay—the sushi wasn’t nearly as fresh and tasty as people say; it was actually kind of dry, like it had been sitting out a while. Ever since the male manager left, the quality has gone downhill.

I’ve been around long enough to know what fresh sushi should taste like, and this was not it! My family came hoping to have a nice lunch, but the sushi was clearly made days ago. When my wife brought it up to the manager, she insisted we were wrong. I left hungry and disappointed. At my age, I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect honesty and food that’s safe to eat. We brought our 3 year old granddaughter and she could’ve ended up in the hospital. Won’t be returning.

Unfortunately, they served us old food and wouldn’t even take it off the bill. We were willing to pay for everything besides the old sushi. If you value your money, a good experience and fresh food try Ten Asian Bistro in the Trumbull Mall.

If you like Sushi and in the area definitely worth a try. Food was fresh, tasty and done well.
Spirits and wines seemed to have your standards, selection of beer was very limited (3), tho the Asahi is a decent choice between a standard crisp domestic but with a abv of 5% its comparable to a light IPA

My fiancé and I love love love this place. Everything they make always taste so amazing. The restaurant as well is beautiful and classy. Plus our waitress Chanel was the sweetest. She was so kind and took the best care of us. We will always come back here. (It’s the best sushi in CT I swear)

My husband and I returned for a 2nd time to Sayori. We absolutely love this restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The quality of their food is extremely fresh with lots of variety of different types of seafood. All of the staff is so very nice and helpful Can’t wait to visit again 🥢💛
