Friday, June 28 about 11:00am Route 15; Orange, Connecticut I stopped at CT Service Plaza to use the restroom, and order from Dunkin Donuts express [a iced medium latte just almond milk]. I was impressed! For a rest stop, this establishment is well managed. Clean bathroom (two stalls, two sinks and one hand dryer). Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and Minimart are all inside the same building. There are two entrances (1) across from the fuel stations which leds directly into the Minimart, Dunkin Donuts, Subway and bathrooms. (2) directly across from the route/highway there are four and two handicap parking spaces in front of the entrance door. Dunkin Donuts [a iced medium latte just almond milk] was deliciously good.

Awful It's a long, skinny building like a hamster tube. You have to walk through a convenience store and by the crowds at the Subway and Dunkin' Donuts to get to the bathrooms. The bathroom? Two disgusting stalls and so small inside that you can't even wait for one to become free to use without getting hit by the door. Who designed this? I would rather pee in the woods than ever stop here again.

Is it weird to leave a service plaza review? Perhaps. But I wanted to tell the handful of people that may read this about the worst Dunkin Donuts employee in the history of Dunks. I stopped in Orange on the north bound side on April 14th 2019 around 2:00 p.m. The young lady working there was unpleasant and makes terrible coffees. I asked for 1 cream on the side and got a coffee that looked like all cream. And I asked for a little milk and 1 sugar in my other coffee and got what can only be described as a milkshake. Could I have said something? Sure. But I had already had a very long day with a 2 hour drive ahead of me, so slightly caffeinated milkshake was perfectly cromulent. Also, the gas pump didn't want to seem to let me pump gas...so there's that.

This Connecticut service plaza easy to access off of the highway. I found a parking spot quickly. Planning to go in Dunkin Donuts I was surprised when I opened the door to Subway. Both are in the same place along with a mini convenient store. The coffee wasn't bad. The French Cruller was melt in your mouth delicious. Probably the best one I've had in 10 years. If you didn't know, they only have 117 calories so go ahead and indulge once in a while.

Worst subway I have ever been to.

Nightmare of a service plaza. Not enough parking. And most of the spots are reserved for handicapped. Or electric vehicle. Or multi passenger. Or just to access the air pump. Then you have to walk across the parking lot to get to the building. Lines for the bathroom were super long. We easily waited 10 minutes. Then the line for DD was so pathetically slow that I passed out from caffeine withdrawal. I was only 5th in line but it was 11 minutes until I got my coffee. And there were 2 pathetic employees waiting on people There is no merge lane to get back on the highway. So look for a small gap in traffic, floor the gas pedal, and pray.

This is another of a pretty standard set of Service Plazas on Route 15 in Connecticut. This one is located on the Southbound side of 15, near Orange. This one has a Subway, a Dunkin, a minimart, and a Mobil Gas Station. Those are all pretty standard. As always, I do wish they had larger bathrooms, as there are only two stalls in the women's here, so if you have to go and it's busy, you may have to wait a while. Otherwise, it's generally clean, with a decent amount of parking, so no complaints here.
