This is one of our favorite places in Orange! We always order their chicken pho, curry dishes, and stir fries. Amazing selection and all ingredients are super fresh. Staff is so friendly and the space is so cute (full of plants, very clean, and good music). A family-owned restaurant that everybody should support!!!
The pho was ok not the best but not the worst
We got the Pad Krapow, the Som Tum Lao Salad, and the Satay. Everything was excellent! Will be back!
Going every other week. Excellent
Since Pho Ket Keo no longer exist, Xay’s is the next best Laos/Thai food in town.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Authentic and Delicious Thai Cuisine!
Xay's Kitchen is a hidden gem that serves the most authentic Thai food I've ever tasted. What makes this place truly special is the owner, Xay, who has lovingly brought her mother's traditional recipes from her native homeland. Each dish feels like a genuine journey through the flavors of Laos and Thailand.
The food here isn't just a meal; it's a heartfelt culinary experience that transports you directly to the region's rich food culture. Every bite is packed with genuine, traditional flavors that you simply can't find in typical Thai restaurants. So delicious! I cannot recommend Xay's Kitchen enough - it's a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic, home-style Southeast Asian cuisine.
If you're looking for real, soul-warming Thai food made with passion and family tradition, look no further than Xay's Kitchen Laos & Thai Cuisine! Thank you Xay! I will be back!
Very kind service, happy to make recommendations! Some of the best Thai tea I have had, and really tastes like tea. Try the jerky!
This is one of the best Thai restaurants I've found in the state: great food for your buck; kind, sweet, attentive service; very comfortable ambiance--and PLENTY of free parking. I have never been disappointed with anything here
It was the most delicious fried rice with duck I ever tried. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Chairs are very comfortable.
This place truly lives up to the glowing Google reviews that initially drew us in. The service is warm and welcoming, the decor contemporary, and while the menu is traditional, it features authentic dishes that are flawlessly executed, delivering rich and deeply satisfying flavors. The fresh spring rolls are consistently delightful, but the standout was unquestionably the massaman curry with tofu—it was outstanding, with a complexity of ingredients that tantalize the taste buds. A heads-up about the Thai Iced Tea: the large one is unexpectedly substantial! Although I was hoping to find distinctive traditional Lao dishes, the menu seemed to mirror many Thai restaurants. Nevertheless, this did not detract from the overall excellent dining experience in such a pleasing setting.

It was my first time here and I was looking for a nice quiet place with great food. They delivered.
1. Great food. I know I had a simple meal but the sticky rice was phenomenal, the soup was super flavorful, and the crab Rangoon were STUFFED with filling. You can see it popping out the wrapper.
2. The service was amazing. The waitress was kind and attentive. The food came out quickly and piping hot.
3. The ambiance was relaxing. The traditional decor brought me to another place and it felt cozy with the warm lighting, real plants on the table.
Highly recommend!

I gave it 2 stars because the service was good we ordered pho, yum nurr, and wings the wings most of it came raw, the yum nurr I wanted it none spicy which came spicy and the pho only tasted most like ginger most likely I won't come back here. The waitress was really good, though.

Incredible food and service! Great selection of both Thai and Lao dishes. The Nam Khao pictured features wonderfully crispy rice with fragrant cilantro and peanuts mixed with pork in a sweet and tangy sauce. Highly recommend!
