Wonderful food and atmosphere and we love coming here as it’s in our town of Oxford and convenient BUT the staff it seems is always put out that customers have come to dine. We arrived tonight at 825 and we were greeted with eye rolls and instant need to place our order even before picking up the menu. I understand wanting to leave at the end of the night but 9pm is the closing hour for service. If 825pm is the time the owner would like to close then adjustments need to be met. We offered to close out early to help accommodate the server as it was uncomfortable and felt as though we were doing him a disservice by asking to be served. Once paying he disappeared and the food we didn’t finish sat at the table without an offer of a to go box. Won't be recommending this moving forward to our community. I have your bowl I used to take my food home if you guys want it back!

Came with family to celebrate a birthday. The food was great, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I had one of the personal pizzas, the size was just right, though I did save some for later. I will absolutely come here again for a special occasion.

Slick atmosphere, and service was acceptable but the food wasn’t worth it. Pizza dough was undercooked and the brioche roll for the buttermilk chicken was burned (black charcoal), putting off the entire flavor

We had the meatballs for an appetizer, and one of us had chicken picata. The other had chicken milanese. Everything was excellent the food & the service both fantastic. I gave the atmosphere 4☆ because, while it was lovely, it was SO LOUD we could barely hear each other across a table for two, and it wasn't even overly crowded.

Char & Lemon is a great spot in Oxford! We had pizza and appetizers, food was fresh and tasty, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and stylish. Definitely recommend sitting at the patio. One of my go-to places for a nice night out.

We showed up with 14 people on Saturday evening. They worked hard to accommodate us. Pizza came out fast and delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Thanks again!

food was good. Came here for my friends bday dinner and our server Megan was clearly upset the whole time. Then got mad when we asked her to split the bill (we all got different things so it was fair) ?? I’ve worked in food service for a while and I understand it’s hard work but you have to be atleast friendly.

The food and service are excellent.
I had the beet salad, which I have to say, was a delightful and masterful study in color, texture, and flavor. The chicken marsala was *very* tasty, though the pasta was slightly undercooked. The mini canolis were fine.
The thing about this restaurant is that the space needs updating. Invest a little more into the look and replace the ugly flooring. Your customers will appreciate it.
