I will never go to ANY Jersey Mike's restaurants. If this store is an example on how all the other restaurants are performing or similar to , I will never go back. I will keep my money. I observed everything during this first time visit. I observed a black female with long hair put on gloves , then she proceeded to fix her hair accordingly while putting on her apron with the same gloves. She then as I observed she then proceeded to make a customer's sandwich with the same gloves. God knows what is in people's hair. See another customer's same complaint re: employee touching their hair before handling food. The place has music that is extremely loud. Owner should be aware that there are people who have triggers to loud sounds. The place was dirty, lots of scraps food behind where the grinders are made all over the floor and cloth used to clean the counter was on the floor, very dirty. Employees don't clean the area. Area below soda machine had garbage that was not cleaned up. I saw no workers cleaning the tables after customers ate their food. I had to clean my own table with sanitizer. Garbage cans were full due to the fact that no employees took the initiative to empty the garage can. Very expensive food. I went to another restaurant (Not this franchise) just to feel full. I'm thinking to contact corporate and share my observations and photos with them. See photos. And please (To owner) don't give me a generic reply such as contact me by email or telephone š. Not interested, I'm interested to let the members of the public be aware of my horrible experience at you Jersey Mike's restaurant in Oxford CT.

Drove there on Sunday the 19th and this business was closed. Hours on website say theyāre open till nine. On their door reads closed at three. Drove over to Nardelliāsā¦

I ordered four giant subs for four people helping me move, using grub hub pickup option. The four went in and were denied the subs because I forgot to give the code number. They knew my name, that it was grub hub and exactly what was in each sub, since they were the consumer, yet they were sent away hungry.
They came back, got me, we returned now easily 30 late for the original order time. I walk in alone, say hi and Iām here for pickup. They ask my name, I say It and the woman says āI knew itā.
You see they told the four adults, a young woman three minority young men helping someone in need of support, that they got a lot of theft. So Jersey Mikeās does that deem profiling & discrimination justified?
One Caucasian woman, 30 min late with no clue about the sandwich details seemed a more plausible consumer of four giant subs than three giant young men and a small young woman who made the order because itās theirs? No effort was made to try and work it through.
No excuse for this ignorance. THEY were your customer. THEY chose you.
What is sad is, is that these young men warned me it would happen since it did at another Jersey Mikes a couple weeks ago when their mom order for them. I didnāt think it could happen in Oxford.
When I called it out, they didnāt apologize once, only defended themselves. It leads me to believe this is Mikeās Way.
Good riddance Jersey Mikes. Iāll miss your subs but not your values.
P.S. Two of the subs were make wrong.

Ignoring special requests via online order was once an exception, but now itās the rule. Donāt bother ordering online if you want them to get it right.

I had a great experience here! The sandwich was great and we received amazing service from one of the workers. I wasnāt able to catch her name, but it was only her second day on the job and she was so kind and personable! Would come back just for that service! She deserves all the recognition!

Over $40 for two foot long subs with hardly any meat, limp lettuce, and old bread.
Horrible, incompetent workers. I placed an online order that had lettuce and mayo on it. I specified an onion allergy on the order to avoid any chance of contamination. They loaded the sandwich with onions. What is wrong with your workers?

Couldnāt even order bc they were too busy talking about their weekend plans. Completely unprofessional and one kid sneezed on his hands, brushed it on apron n continued on his day. Disgusting!
Cassie and John are wonderful. Everytime we go in they are so kind and ensure our order is correct. When brining my kids who all want very specific things they always double check to make sure they got it. I've never been disappointed coming to this location. Great job team.

Staff and service was very amazing and associate was helpful for other newbies with me also gave great suggestions and food was cooked perfectly everything was fresh I tried other locations but this one has been top tier will come back again and again amazing location love it here
