This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. After visiting 90+ of them it is usually hard to be surprised, but OEC did a great job.
The brewery occupies its own building. There's another building nearby that stores the beers they import from around the world. The indoor space is separated into two rooms, and there is a patio outside. A great selection of board games is available inside, as well as a couple of arcade machines. There is some food onsite with a decent quality.
There's a fantastic selection of beers in the taproom. Everyone will find something they'll like. On top of that, OEC experiments with beer blends and flavors a lot, so this is a destination to try some new flavors for anyone who thinks that they already tried everything possible. There were about 17 beers on tap during my visit and with the option to order a flight of four beers, I tried almost all of them. The beer quality is fantastic, everything is crafted with passion. But my definite favorite for the day was Cuvee de Gorgoroth (Barrel-aged barleywine) for its multi-layered complex taste. This is a masterpiece of a beer. I'll also give a shoutout to Coolship Lager Black, as the brewer managed to create such an awesome brew of a well-known style. There are cocktails available for order too.
I will definitely recommend this place to any craft beer lover. It is worth a dedicated trip here, even a longer one.

Some of the best lagers and people in New England. Before recently, I had only tried their beer in cans/bottles and greatly enjoyed them. When I went on a road trip out east, I knew I had to check it out, and they did not disappoint. The coolship lager was pillowy soft, and the oatmeal stout on hand pull was creamy. The staff treated me like a regular, and if I lived in CT, I would be. They also have a variety of imports from all over the world. I found a few gems to take home with me. Already planning my next visit.

This is one of the best breweries in New England , luckily it's in my home state of Connecticut! Great beers ,abit off the beaten track but worth the trip.Also can be accessed by the Larkin rail trail.
We recently had a private party at OEC for my sisters surprise 30th and I can’t say enough good things! Communication in planning with Jie was wonderful and they helped every step of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. They let us come in early before they closed to the public and set up and were so accommodating- staff was SO friendly, had smiles on their faces all night. They have something for everyone there (even our sober friends!) craft beer, kombucha, ciders, cocktails- all in great atmosphere. All the guests had such a wonderful time and will no doubt be back. If you’re considering OEC for your private event, I highly recommend them!

If you're looking for something outside of your usual fruited sour, get to OEC. Their other beers are amazing too, they have the best CT Octoberfest. Tony and Chloe are alsoTHE BEST.

EOC Brewing is a fantastic spot for craft beer lovers! The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, with a modern yet cozy vibe that makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual night out.
The beer selection is impressive, with a great variety of styles to choose from. They also offer cocktails, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
Beyond the beer, the space itself is great—plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors.
