I had one of the paste dishes, spicy kind. My wife the steak. Steak temperature was perfect medium and the pasta very flavorful and just the right amount of heat. Service was great and the place was packed! If any the only fail we experienced we the request to sub the mashed for fries.

We have been dining here for years. Special occasions of just a night out, they never fail to deliver a quality experience. The menu is great and the cookstaff exceptional! Waitstaff is friendly and attentive, comfortable seating and excellent cocktails make this restaurant one of our favorite go-to establishments. The building has a storied past and historical significance too.

I had my son’s baptism reception here and the owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The food was amazing and was out and ready to go when we arrived. The staff who took care of us during the party were so friendly. It was the perfect atmosphere and I’m happy we chose this restaurant to host such a special occasion. Highly recommend!

we met up with some friends for dinner at the Oxford House Tavern. We decided to share an order of oysters as a starter. Frankly, they were disappointing. They were small and dry as if they had been opened sometime ago and left to sit in a refrigerator. fortunately, our experience improved after that. a flatbread, the pierogies, chicken, marsala, and chicken. Milanese were all delicious. Service was great. It was worth winding our way through some back roads to get there, dealing with the aftermath of the floods earlier this year. We hope to be back one day.
This place used to be the Oxford house, which was a fancy place for dinner but now it’s a tavern/pub, and a great vibe for our sleepy little town of Oxford. Great eats and cool drinks love the place.

I was disappointed from our last visit. Scallops were like rubbery gelatin & gritty ( I only ate 1.5 out of the 5 they give you), sweet potato puree was watery. If you buy it pre-made, then take it off the menu. Plate presentation needs a lot to be desired. Slopped sweet potato puree all over the plate & then scallops in the puree. My wifes burger was way overcooked. My sons filet mignon was cooked correctly, which was most important because it was his birthday dinner. Our daughters mac "n" cheese was plentiful but really runny. Being in the business for 30yrs I can tell by the expediting timing was off in the kitchen. Server was good taking the order but never made any suggestions. Maybe it was just a bad night.

The choice of multiple options for appetizers to entrees and ending with multiple desert options made for a great night with 5 of us having plenty of choices for everyone From a great steak choice to shrimp scampi to a half rack of ribs, each was prepared and presented very well The wait staff were professional and friendly Overall great experience!
