Have been to Oxford House Tavern a number of times since moving to Oxford in 2017 and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, selection of menu items and the drinks. The bartenders and wait staff have always been extremely friendly and inviting. The rib special is my favorite!

Every meal is perfect! I have tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed! My wife has quite a few food allergies, and between the communication with the waitstaff and the chef, her meals come out amazing! After each meal we always finish up at the bar with a cocktail. The bartenders creat a different drink special every day. And let me just say... sooo good! So this restaurant is a must try! You will be coming back again and again!Dietary restrictions: The chef can create a meal specifically to your restrictions. Don't be shy to let your server know. They take it very seriously.

My husband and I were disappointed. He waited awhile to get his drink order. We asked for bread the waiter said he bring out garlic bread which never came. Then found out from server who brought food out they had no bread left. Our french onion soup was good but our entrees disappointed in the crab crusted sole was cold and felt like not cooked enough and my husband had ordered the mahi mahi which was overcooked and very small portion. Also our waiter never came over again once we placed our order. It was not a great dining experience.
First time eating at Oxford Tavern House (Feb 2024) and it was amazing. Our waiter Mike offered to tell us about the history of the location and let us know everything is scratch made in house. We started with the Bavarian pretzels and calamari. Then our table had Luca pasta, mahi blackened mahi and the crab cod (I think that was on special that evening). Everything was amazing but our favorite was the Luca and pretzels. Can't wait to go back.
