Although they say they are open on Mondays, they are not. Drove all the way from NYC and they were closed. We were there at about 1:30 PM in the afternoon on Monday, Feb 13th.
They took my family’s last min party of about 35 people and blew it out of the park with prep time of maybe an hr. I’d highly recommend this restaurant as I will be returning for many times to come!!!! This is a family own and operated restaurant that cares from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. Amazing time with great food! Thank you
This place is just way to expensive for the quality of the food served. Other pizza places in town have pizza 5 bucks cheaper and significantly better. If this is the first place you go to in oxford and aren't a foodie, you might think it's decent. Once you try the other options in town you quickly realize this place isn't worth a real look.
My fiancé Marcus & I have been long time customers of Rolandos. We absolutely love the food. Everything is so good. I especially love the pizza, pepperoni stuffed bread, chicken francaise, veal parm & pan seared salmon. The dough is tasty & delicious. The veal is so tender, the best veal around Oxford. The chicken melts in your mouth & the salmon & risotto is delicious. The pasta sauce isn't bitter. You won't be disappointed!
Do you want to have a good meal go in Redlands restaurant has the best dishes of pasta also the best pizza round Oxford I’ve been in many restaurants this it’s number one to me
I brought my family because the food was great. Service the first time was average at best but walking in an hour before close and waitng for someone to so much aas greet us is the epitome of bad service. I could understand if it was busy or we were close to closing but there was 1 family and the bartender periodically passed me dirty looks. all good though because i won't make that mistake again.
Italian restaurant eggplant on menu, but somehow no eggplant find his out 1 hour after we order terrible service.
Onion Soup $7.00? WOW, bring a tear to my eye, that hurts! And that's the cheapest thing on the menu!Just got their menu in my mailbox. Seems very, very expensive.I would like to try them, but even a salad is $16.00. No thanks.I'll make you a deal. Stay out of my mailbox if you don't want to see this type of stuff.Update: Read their reply. They never even read my review! "next time"??? "didn't workout"?? Maybe not putting a dollar sign before the price, ie:Salad 16 Onion Soup 7vsSalad $16.00 Onion Soup $7.00is what "didn't work out"!!!Your con! Didn't fool me.Next time read the review you are responding to so you don't look like you don't care what anybody says, you reply the same regardless.
Always enjoy getting our take out from Roland's!!Rocky makes the beat stuffed breads, broccoli & garlic is our all time fav~
Ordered a 4 pizzas and a grinder for a family get together. What a joke! The sandwich was missing pretty much everything and had maybe 4 pieces of salami on it. The pizza was fine but not worth the price. I'll stick to Rose's next time...

Bbq chicken pizza was very good! Husband had the French Onion Soup said it was good but needed more cheese.
That was the best Veal Francese I've had in a long time and they added some spinach for me without making it an issue. I had a beer on tap, but the others I was with had vodka drinks and they were served in very large glasses. I'm sure the drinks had to be mostly mixers. Doubt they had extra alcohol. The place is small a little tight, but I'd go for the veal again in a heartbeat. Also, when I looked up the menu online it showed pizzas, but they weren't on the menu in the dining room. I meant to ask, but forgot. I'd like to give their pizza a try in the future for takeout if available.
My sister recently moved to Seymour, so we wanted to try some restaurants in the area. Driving on Oxford road we came to this place so we gave it a try. The food was very good, service was ok but the kicker is, are bill came to 108 dollars, NP here, we split it 54 dollars each and left a cash tip of 22 dollars. A few days later we received are credit card statements, for the amount of 69 dollar, they added 15 dollars to each of our respective bills, this has never happen to me ever. So someone is very dishonest there and cannot be trusted, if they will do this, what wont they do..
My boyfriend had received a gift certificate to this little Italian restaurant, so naturally he wanted to use it and decided to dote on me. He had planned to go to a nice dinner when the reality of that was far from what he wanted. To start, we waited about ten minutes to be seated (not too bad). They had a live guitar and bass duo who was playing WAY too loud for the space, and we were seated a mere 6 feet from the speaker, we had to shout over the music to hear each other across the two foot table. At two different points during our dinner, a manager (I believe) and a customer both asked them to turn it down, to which one of them argued. Moving on from their music option of the night, the lady that brought us to the table gave us water and asked if there was anything other drinks we would like, we both ordered a soda and it came in a timely fashion. We were given a few minutes to decide what we would eat and then we ordered. My boyfriend got a salad and lasagna and I got a 12 inch cheese pizza (both meals were very tasty). HOWEVER, the hour and a half wait for our food made the experience not worth it (not the waitress' fault though). While were waiting, another couple came in and were seated one table away from us, and they ordered two salads and bread, which came within fifteen minutes. Just before they were seated, the waitress had come over and offered bread to help compensate for the wait on our food, and not too surprisingly to us, we got it well after the couple who came after us got their food. Overall, the food was good, but not good enough for the wait we had to endure and their music and customer service needs work.
We went there Sunday March 27th. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Definitely will go back.
