Had dinner with 3 couples. We sat in a booth which was pretty tight for 6 people. The cocktails were very good, the food was decent. I’ve had better Italian food. The atmosphere was lively. Service was great. Overall we had a fun time.

ALWAYS a phenomenal meal at Hoof’s! The food is flavorful, homemade & of large proportions. The servers are excellent and always knowledgeable about menu items & special offerings. I’ve never experienced a bad meal (or service) at Hoof’s. It’s our go to spot for a great meal in a cozy environment

We had a great time. Great atmosphere. Service was top-notch.(Herman). The owner Nick was great. We originally were at a small table for six people. He moved us to a table that accommodated all six of us. The food was incredible. The white truffle pasta was awesome. Highly recommend it.

Why did I detect some arrogance in the staff? I am an ordinary person just trying to have an ordinary nonalcoholic drink at the bar. I am not a demanding customer and I don't drink alcohol, so my perception of events and attitudes was not askew.
I tried to speak to the manager, but management apparently had no interest in speaking to me.
Very noisy environment, but it was a night to be with family and friends and celebrate. I'll give them this one.
Menu items seemed overpriced, but again I decided not to eat. I cannot comment on food quality, but I can comment on service. And I am doing so right now. FYI...tipping is never automatic. I decide what I want to tip, and you have no right to round up to the next whole dollar because you don't have the change on hand.
Is this a special occasion restaurant only? If so, I'll go elsewhere.

Was looking for a steak one night when I was not far away. Hoof's came up on Google and had good reviews, so I stopped in. Believe it was a Friday night, around 8ish. Didn't have reservations, but they happened to have a cancelation, so we were able to be seated, and let me tell you this place DID NOT disappoint!!! From the great and friendly staff to some of the best food I've had. They've earned me as a loyal over an hour drive away customer time and time again. My go-to place now for many special occasions and for a great meal any time!!!

I was looking forward to trying this place but the halibut dish I ordered was over cooked and dry. The salmon dish was mediocre with no flavor. The bolognese pasta and mozzarella salad were yummy. I would try them again but different entrees.

Wow, just wow! My wife and I stopped in on a Friday night - no reservations. We had a brief and shorter than expected wait. Fantastic atmosphere, better service and food! Our server Matthew, g Provided excellent recommendations. We had the special scallops and filet - amazing!
We will be back for sure.
