A hidden gem! Tucked away, next to the railroad tracks, where you will see trains passing by! The food was fresh, and delicious! Prices were reasonable. The fish and chips were the best I ever had!

Right next to the Amtrack rails. Even got to see the Acella rip by. Friend had the CT Lobster roll and I had the ME Lobster roll which had a sufficient amount of lobster on both. Fairly priced. Both came with fries onion rings and home made coleslaw. All were very good. Nice little spot. Supposedly only open for just over a year. Did I mention BYOB?

Took forever to be served. Only one other couple was there. Lobster roll was tough, seafood platter was like warm and not special. Sweet potato was good, very skimpy with condiments.
Wouldn’t recommend other than to say waiter was very kind.

Such a cute and quaint Resturant in Pawcatuck right off of the railroad (was so fun watching the train go by!!) Food and service was absolutely fantastic- can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I had the good fortune to have dinner at J & G Railside Restaurant last night. We had the Octopus alla Mero and the Polenta Bowl. Both were generous in portion and delicious. The waiter was very efficient. Next time we are in the area we will definitely return!

We stopped in for lunch. Started with a dozen raw Mystic oysters, which were delicious, and had 3 different sauces. Next, the grilled Ruben and Veggie Wrap. Both came with fries and slaw. Very clean, and the owner was super friendly. A lovely vase of fresh flowers on the tables was a nice addition. It is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth it.

Just had another FANTASTIC dinner and J&G Rail Side - scallop pasta was delicious, and the salad was over the top excellent - always love the calamari appetizer - all great - thank you!!!
The burger was so darned delicious- lots of flavor and barely needed condiments!

Lovely off the beaten path, cozy restaurant near Westerly with plenty of parking. Friendly service, good menu. We had delicious New England clam chowder and seafood platters. Excellent meal and reasonable prices! Will be back!
