Baker's Dozen of Plainfield

I work at the Pomfret Baker’s Dozen, so I’ve had my fair share of coffee — but my visit to the Chaplin location absolutely blew me away! The coffee was perfect (hands down the best I’ve ever had), and the manager at the window made it with such care. Friendly service, smooth coffee, and the kind of attention to detail that makes you want to come back every day. Great job, Chaplin team! ☕👏

The Gales Ferry team is absolutely amazing! Everyone is so friendly, and the coffee is consistently delicious. I love letting the staff surprise me with how they make my coffee — and it never disappoints. Thank you all for always starting my day off right (and yes, sometimes I even come back for a second cup because it’s just that good!).

Gales Ferry Bakers goes out of their way to make every experience the best. Stop there in the morning brings a smile to my face. Coffee is always amazing and the baked goodies are the best around

What isn't to love about a local business with good food and good people? I will choose baker's over Dunkin or Starbucks every time.
The donuts are big and fresh. The coffee is always good, with new flavors every season.

Really nice step up from Dunkin option from the food, atmosphere, and the value. Had a couple bagels and it was nice to have them covered with cream cheese properly. Plenty of seating. Nice stop

Food is on par with Dunkin donuts, honey dew, etc. mediocre baked goods and bad coffee. Excellent service, though - much better than Dunkin.
