Grabbed a couple of Pumpkin doughnuts, just had one at home, sweet Jesus was it good. The coffee was excellent as well.

It's a restaurant... That pretty much sums it up. The staff was efficient and helpful, the food wasn't special, but it was pretty good, and the prices were reasonable given the economy. The decor follows the corporate trend of making everything generic and non descript to increase the property value. So yeah, if you're hungry, this place has food I guess.

The sandwiches are really good, everything tasted fresh and flavored.
Great selection of donuts and other bake goods. Donuts are so delicious.
The Frozen hot chocolate andcoffee are very tasty.
Service is consistently excellent. Great team of hardworking ladies.
Dining area clean and good background music.

I work at the Pomfret Baker’s Dozen, so I’ve had my fair share of coffee — but my visit to the Chaplin location absolutely blew me away! The coffee was perfect (hands down the best I’ve ever had), and the manager at the window made it with such care. Friendly service, smooth coffee, and the kind of attention to detail that makes you want to come back every day. Great job, Chaplin team! ☕👏

The Gales Ferry team is absolutely amazing! Everyone is so friendly, and the coffee is consistently delicious. I love letting the staff surprise me with how they make my coffee — and it never disappoints. Gales Ferry Bakers goes out of their way to make every experience the best. Stop there in the morning brings a smile to my face. Coffee is always amazing and the baked goodies are the best around
