It was not great but not horrible either. The burger tasted funny to us but just could have been lack of spices or flavors. Never really didn't like a burger before. Garlic bread pizza was pretty good. Our server was very kind and attentive.
Mr. Z’s is just the kind of place where you feel like you’ve walked into somewhere honest, no pretenses. The food hits — big portions, solid flavors — burgers, fries, subs, nothing fancy, just good. I previously gave this restaurant five stars about a year ago, I'm not sure what has changed, but it isn't for the best. We've been coming here for 5 years and for the most part the pizza has been spot on and food on average has been typical of the area, not the greatest.
