Ordered an egg and cheese ($7.74) and this is the quality of food I received. I also got a coffee that tasted water. The only good part about this breakfast was the timing in which I received it.

Ordered a sesame bagel toasted with chicken salad. The chicken salad was a blob of mayo with some chicken mixed in. Bagel was ok. Don’t order the chicken salad, you won’t be happy. And it was $9.72 for just the one sandwich.

First off, the info on their website is outdated as the price for a bakers dozen has gone up significantly--almost $18 for a bakers dozen and this is with a discount. These are really not NY style bagels and instead seem like Panera bagels - they are more bread like than chewy. The blueberry bagel is bland with no real blueberry taste and the French toast bagel is an overly sweet sugar bomb. While service is good (hence my two star), the bagels are not good. I'm going to stick to Shef's in Cheshire for real chewy bagels.

1st visit, but not our last. Dispite a slight mixup in our order that was quickly fixed, we will be back. Terrific bagels and good coffee.

Recommended: Fine in a pinch.Overall: It's tough to find a good bagel in this area, so it's a okay option for a bagel and cream cheese--but skimpy breakfast sandwich.Snapshot: Food: 3/5 Drink: NA Vibe: Take out Service: 4/5‍‍ Family-Friendly: NAHighlights:-Perfect For: If you're craving a bagel in the Southington area-Bonus Tip: Ask for an extra egg on the breakfast sandwichAll The Details:In Connecticut, finding a decent bagel spot can be a challenge, so expectations have to be adjusted accordingly. Kettle Bagels is an okay choice, but their inconsistency is notable. I visited twice within a week, post-daycare drop-off, and both times my order was mixed up, requiring a return to the counter. They were nice about it at least. The Everything Bagels were a bit of a letdown. The first visit, they were overloaded with onion pieces to the point of being nearly inedible. The second time was better, but the bagel still lacked salt, tasting bland and doughy. Also, the breakfast sandwich was notably scant on meat and egg, as seen in my photo. Next time, I'd definitely need to double up on egg and meat.I've been told I'm a bit of a bagel snob, and perhaps my standards are high, but the inconsistency and incorrect orders were disappointing. That said, compared to other local options that taste more like bagel-shaped bread, Kettle Bagels at least offers something closer to a real bagel. I'd consider giving them another shot if I was in a bind, but it's not a place I'll actively seek out or recommend.

the food is amazing but it's the worst service I've ever had, everyone has a horrible attitude, when you call they ask very snootily if you have the right store, there's allways confusion about orders, the manager has a constant scowl, and serveral times I've walked in to order only to find the cashiers talking for more than five minutes to their friends without acknowledging me.

Best breakfast and super fast. Pretty much get the same thing, bacon, egg and cheese on a spinach wrap. Consistent and delicious. We've tried the Hobo and breakfast sandwiches on a bagel too. Equally great!
