I have been here often. The General Tso is good. The pork fried rice and egg roles are excellent. The people are very nice. The restaurant part is used for storage but there are tables. Not really an eat in place.

Since attaining new ownership this establishment has definitely upped its game. The food is always consistently good although it has different tastes due to the new ownership I would not doubt just how much heart goes into making each plate. It takes a little bit of homegrown atmosphere and brings the flavors of traditional Chinese food to a new level. Don't just take my word for it give them a try and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Whenever we get food her it’s 10/10 we have never had a problem!Things that are out go to from here are:Beef lo mein combo 10/10Orange chicken combo 9/10Chicken fingers with extra duck sauce 10/10 they give you an entire container of ducksauce!!Beef with mixed vegetables- my personal fav beef it’s not drenched in soy sauce!!And of course! Their crab ran-goons and egg rolls are the best!!

Ever since these new owners took over the place has gone downhill in every aspect. Today I was told the food would be ready for pickup in 15-20 minutes, I get there well over 35 minutes after ordering because not every one wants Chinese food. Upon arriving I was then told it was not ready yet and then sat in the restaurant for an additional 25 minutes. This is just another reason of why this place sucks.
This restaurant has fallen off. We live close to Main Street in Terryville. They took an hour to get our food to me and my family despite being less than 15 minutes away. The food we received was cold and my sister’s chicken was so overcooked that she could barely eat it. My chicken was rubbery and flavorless. This isn’t the only time the food has been terrible either. However, this has become our consistent experience with the business. Golden City used to have excellent food and service. I’m unsure what has happened, but I would avoid them given all the competition in the area.
