Dan was awesome to chat with! Such a great location and the building is so freaking cool. The spirits were all delicious! The Connecticut Old Fashioned was amazing. We will be coming back very often!!

Recently visited Watercure Farm Distillery, nestled at the historic entrance of Gwyn Careg Estate in Pomfret, CT. This charming spot is Connecticut’s first farm distillery, a title well-deserved. They fully embrace the ‘Farm to Flask’ philosophy, sourcing all ingredients locally, which is evident in the quality of their spirits. I had the pleasure of trying their Apple Spice Flavored Rum, a delightful blend perfect for the holiday season, mixed with apple cider and cinnamon. The warmth of the spices and the depth of the apple blend seamlessly for a cozy drink.The owner, Daniel, shared fascinating insights about their process and the history of the location, adding a personal touch to the visit. His dedication to maintaining high standards using local resources is impressive. The distillery itself has a welcoming vibe, with direct access from the Air Line State Park Rail Trail, making it a fantastic pit stop for hikers.Whether you're a spirits aficionado or a casual visitor, Watercure Farm Distillery offers a unique experience with a personal touch that makes each sip memorable. Highly recommend a visit!

Great place, enjoyed everything we tried. Owner was very personable and great to talk to. Will definitely be back!! Highly recommend the Connecticut Old Fashioned.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The building is super cute, the ladies working were so much fun to talk to. It literally felt like we were having a drink with friends. the product itself is delicious. My husband and I both had the spiced apple rum in different cocktails and they were both awesome. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful spirits. Will definitely return to try their mixology.

What a lovely little place! We had a great experience, from the drinks to the ladies that were working. The drinks and the selection are fantastic, the people working have such great energy! We sat outside and they still checked in on us. Highly recommend and will be back.

Not worth the “hype” that’s on here. Can make far better drinks at home! Took forever for drinks to be made when there was no one in line. One of our drinks was SO bad it was undrinkable and was poured in the bush outside (RIP $$ drink). The service was too slow and atmosphere was lacking. Overall too expensive and wouldn’t recommend. Too bad because the building is so cute and on cute property! **NOT kid friendly for anyone wondering!

Such a great place! Super delicious drinks, friendly and skilled bartenders, relaxing country atmosphere. A must visit if you’re in the area.
