Rude owner !!! The place has very limited hours and when you are there they are NOT welcoming at all!! Basically tells you to hurry up and finish because they are closing in 30 minutes. Yells at you to make sure you don’t touch the bathroom lights. The mother yells and interrupts the daughter who try’s to give a tasting . Very uncomfortable experience!!
Have had this establishment on my to do list for years. Finally got to go on Father’s Day. I’ll make it short and simple: Was greeted as a complete trespasser with confusion as to “why are you here?” during normal business hours. The mother and daughter combo seemed clueless about the fact they were running a winery. My wife and I have been repeat customers of Sharpe Hill over the years, and always make a point to get our stamp on the CT Wine Trail - Connecticut passport. We missed last year, but didn't check anything other than the Passport App to do our normal NE Connecticut run and it said they were open until 3pm.
