We had lunch here at about 2 pm. Many people there but not crowded. The sandwiches were well prepared and good. Eating area was both inside and outside. The parking lot is gravel so outside contends with dust. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Service was quick and friendly. It’s a good place for a quick lunch.

This is easily one of the best known and well respected joints in the area because if you like music, they got a great local music scene. If you like burgers, they got amazing burgers. If you want a really chill and cozy place to drink some coffee and read a book, they got you covered!

Let me start off by saying, I don't like to give bad reviews, but in this case I must write about the service and the way the staff conducts them self in an open kitchen. Again open kitchen! As a servsafe instructor, you must wear your hair under your hat or hair net. You must wear gloves when handling food. When the cook leaves the grill to take an order at the pos system, take your gloves off and replace gloves. If you have a beard you must wear a beard net, so hair from your face and crumbs from the food you're eating standing up in the kitchen don't fall into someone's food. Servsafe was implemented to protect the customer from a food-borne illness. Food-borne illness is very serious, company's like Boards Head just went through a severe servsafe violation. None of the staff was practicing servsafe, from what I noticed in my 1.5 hour sitting in the establishment. One kitchen staff was eating a burger, walking around the kitchen. Other kitchen staff with long hair did not have a hat or hair net on. The place is also very dirty from what I could see, grime/grease on the floors in the dinning area, too many kitchen workers screwing around. Drinking out of a glass bottle in the kitchen, your supposed drink out of a plastic or paper cup with a cover and straw, to protect the food from spillage or glass. Sad!

We’ve been here once before and I was blown away how good the food was. So on my birthday today we went there for my birthday breakfast and was highly disappointed. Our bacon was CHARRED, my daughter’s pancake was burnt on the bottom, my eggs Benedict was SOUR??? And we waited at least 30 minutes-45 min for our food. We paid $60 for the worst breakfast I’ve ever had and I wasn’t going to ask and wait for everything to be cooked again after waiting so long the first time… maybe it was an off day, but I will NOT be returning, this was a terrible experience. ZERO STARS FOR THE FOOD

This place is at first glance interesting and I wanted to love it more.. it's been there a long time and it's very busy/popular but the food was just "okay" nothing special. We've been twice and tried the grilled chicken, burger and brisket grilled cheese.. and since its boasts local sourced it was a bit expensive for just a sandwich.. and then the dessert looked great but was just not done right. Tried too hard maybe? Too much going on. The ginger lemonade was a hard no. One thing I did love was the iced vanilla Chai.

The man who took our order was very nice & helpful w the vegetarian options for me..there was a good variety of stuff in general if u are looking for soups and sandwhiches. Cute place. You are given a large playing card to distinguish your table with your meal..ours was the 5 of clubs.cute idea. .the tomatoe florentine soup was Amazing,I can't wait to whip up my version of it and see if it compares!

Vegetarian options: I had thr tomato and aged cheddar sandwich with pesto..I never like pesto so I knew I was not going to be a fan of that part of the sandwich but other than that the tomatoes were nice and ripe and the cheese was aged and sharp as it was described. Lol

Great food, coffee, and service! The Vanilla Bean is also Vegan friendly, offering Vegan cold foam and an assortment of Vegan coffee flavors. I was told that they can make vegan pancakes and French toast, breakfast potatoes with veggies, and fruit! The vibes on the patio were perfect for breakfast! We definitely will be coming back!

Dietary restrictions: Lots of Vegan options, just ask the helpful staff!
