85 Main in Putnam is a fantastic dining spot! With a diverse menu featuring delicious, expertly prepared dishes, it’s the perfect place for any occasion.
85 Main is as good as advertised ! From the dry gin martini to the Negroni , cocktails were awesome. The flat iron steak was cooked to perfection and the service was impeccable. The most fun I had at a restaurant in years.

Really enjoyed the butternut squash bisque that came with some yummy grilled bread. (Maybe would’ve preferred the bisque a bit thicker as it’s quite thin, but still satisfying!) Calamari also good. Our mozzarella basil sandwich was too runny & everything kind of slid around & made the bread soggy but was still pretty good. Wanted to try the crab cake so maybe I’ll get that next time. I got the $9 tea mocktail, wouldn’t do that again as it just tasted like reg tea. My husband really enjoyed the pumpkin ale with cinnamon sugar rim. The seasonal apple cheesecake special was super yummy. Our waiter was very friendly & provided great service.

Never disappointed, our go-to restaurant when in quiet corner. Wide variety of food that is all done well. Great selection of craft beers with a full and very cool bar. I normally don't do raw oysters away from the shore, but the selection, quality and preparation here is the best in the state. Also, have an excellent sushi bar that I can never pass up. The front dining room is very normal, so we head to the bar room in the back that is long with many high-top tables that has a fun vibe!

Meal was delicious but messy. I suggest you use the balsamic as a dipping sauce and not on the caprese’ sandwich
Really awful lunch experience. Both sandwiches were way too overdone. Obviously, he/she didn’t check the grill. Fries were also overdone! Service at first was slow. They did comp my friend’s lunch—but I guess I didn’t complain enough. We will not go again . Other good options in Putnam.
Risible! $8.00 for soup that wasn't hot and looked like dirty bathwater. The menu is indicative of a place trying too hard. The beef made me sick as well. The cheapest possible olive oil for dipping. Save your money.

One of my favorites for fresh and delicious sushi and seafood for the last nearly 10 years! The crab cake salad and salmon entree are two of my go tos but my last visit I went for the Tuna Special and was excellent. You absolutely cannot beat their espresso martinis and the atmosphere.

I’ve been coming here for years and it has continually gone downhill. A lingering smell of urine constantly emanates from the restaurant as soon as you walk by it. The “owner” James clearly and visibly treats his staff like trash while trying to smooch up “regulars”. The bar staff each and every year goes down in quality while simultaneously increasing their attitude. Their new “bar manager” “cherish” is so rude and clearly on a power trip. I feel bad for the service and sushi staff who have to endure their monarchism and bad energy. I use to send people here all the time however I heard rumors as well that they are pretty discriminatory on the race they hire for service staff as well. All things about this restaurant rub me the wrong way and I wouldn’t trust the food from a restaurant that lets a urine smell linger for years. They also push bottom of the barrel seafood for their “happy hour” shucking hours in advance and loading up on “bargain” oysters. Charging $40 for salmon at a restaurant whose highest priced item should be $40. Decent spot turned into a Joke.
