I'm in town visiting from Texas with some friends and we went out to eat tonight at your restaurant. I ordered the brisket it was very good. the only thing it's not brisket. it was roast beef with barbecue sauce. brisket is a completely different cut of meat from what I ate tonight, but everything tasted great. I need there again.

Even thought the place was mobbed, our table was ready, with a reservation, the service was prompt and our server was great. The food was great and everything came quickly, considering that every table was filled. Try the hanging bacon as an app. 😉

We go to Black Dog almost every Sunday after church. We went Thursday evening for a change. Kristin was our waitress. We hadn't seen her before. When I asked she said she usually doesn't work on the Lord's Day. That's awesome that she expressed her Faith. The food and service was great as usual.

Ate here as a recommendation and sadly it missed the mark. Ribs were dry and tough, had to drench it in their house made BBQ sauce which was pretty good. The coleslaw was literally just raw cabbage. I'm sure they forgot to put in the dressing. The endless sodas were great. The brisket had 0 flavor. Chicken soup was like warm and the noodles were way overdone, the French onion soup was decent. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and soft. However the sweet potatos fries were delicious. In my opinion this place is expensive and overrated.
