Our group had a variety of food - burgers, the pulled pork mac 'n cheese, a roasted half chicken and the burnt ends with a side salad. The food was all delicious and the portions were large. It was a very busy Saturday night (loud inside) and the place was packed. Our server probably had too many tables to be attentive, but she was also not very friendly. We are returning customers love the black dog, but this time was just a little different. The wait for our food was about 45 to 50 minutes, which is unusual for them. The waitress that we had was very scatterbrained didn't seem to understand that she needed to check in with her patrons once we ordered our food. Another waitress stopped by. Always one of my favorite places to frequent. Call P has been our waitress the last few times we've gone, and has been amazing. The food has been great, from the prime rib to the pulled pork meal to the cob salad, which my wife loves . So happy we found this restaurant. Tom & Michelle from RI ❤️
