Food was fantastic and server was nice and attentive. I loved the historic building and everything was clean. Cocktails were a bit weak but tasted good. Dessert was also fantastic, we had a chocolate cheesecake and a chocolate cherry creme brulee special.

Fun place to gather with friends for great meals and cheerful atmosphere; service was excellent and menu is varied with many choices. Hummus app was delicious and very fresh. Our server Courtney was super! A favorite go-to place!!

I usually never leave a bad review even if the food is ok but the service is good I would usually give a 5 star. I unfortunately never got to try the food there because we waited well over an hr and a half. The server was nice which is the reason I didn't leave 1 star. The manager gave a discount, not that I was expecting it, of $9 on an over $100 bill for two. I think there are better options in the area to be considered first, especially for the price.

I come here every so often and the experience is amazing every time! Food never disappoints. Very cozy atmosphere. And I like that there’s also a trivia program playing most of the times I’m there, even though I don’t always use it.

We had our wedding here on 12/21/2025! Not only did Sheila help us plan it in two days but she and Audrey provided exceptional service. They decorated, served, and helped us with anything we needed to make the day feel perfect for our special day. The chefs were so friendly and our guests and we were wowed by the amazing food cooked to perfection. Thank you, Courthouse, for making our wedding day so memorable.

As a resident of Putnam, Connecticut, I would usually generally recommend the courthouse bar and Grill for food and beverage. Tonight we brought my stepson out to celebrate making second honors in high school . Little did we know we would be completely overcharged. Now I know food is more expensive. I understand that alcohol is the biggest money maker in any restaurant and I understand that. However, five years after Covid hit, going into the establishment this evening being charged one dollar for a splash of cranberry juice in my vodka soda water cocktail is insane. 1$. I highly enjoy their Tuesday night, Tito’s and soda for five dollars with no extra charge for a splash of cranberry. But any other day they’re gonna charge you a whole dollar more? Charging 12$ a drink?Is there just greed here? Or what? Not to mention the wraps were half the sizes they used to be and a family of 4 cost us nearly $200 to eat. Severely disappointed. Although we were able to accommodate this charge today, sometimes we may not be able to which would reflect on the tip being left. Which would then reflect on Servers wondering if they should work at the establishment anymore. It’s one thing to make a three or four dollars off a drink, not time and a half off the drink. Severely disappointed.
