The Courthouse Bar & Grille is the place to be in Putnam, CT! From the food, atmosphere, and service, I am always impressed! It’s the perfect place to go to meet a friend for lunch or have a family dinner. They have a wide selection of entrees and drinks! I LOVE their wraps! I’m also love to see how involved they are with the community! Great place. 10/10 ?
We had returned to The Courthouse, after a 6 year hiatus, as we had heard it was recently sold. It had been less than awesome in the past so we thought we would try it again under new ownership.

The new owner should really consider updating the decor to reflect a "courthouse vibe". Most of the decor looks like remnants from a bad yard sale. The windows from the street look like they could use a good cleaning.

My hubby and I (from Worcester) always meet my brother, Tom, at The Courthouse. It's pretty much halfway between Leeds CT and Worcester. The food and service has always been great but we've made an important discovery....the owner and wait staff have hearts of gold.
