Cocktails and food are always good. The menu doesn’t seem to change much but they always have specials. Stuffies, brussel sprouts, meat loaf and short ribs are our favorites. The homemade cheesecakes are incredible and huge servings. Everyone is friendly other than one hostess who I have had two rude interactions with. The first time, I popped in while in the area to get a slice of cheesecake to go and she berated me for not calling ahead. When I said I’d wait she gave me a hard time so I said forget it and she seemed pleased I gave up. The second time, my friend made the Reservation for us with her parents and she was running late. My husband and I arrived on time and said they would be in ten minutes and she told me if it were the weekend we wouldn’t be seated. I just said ok. When my friend and her parents arrived they saw me and came directly to the table. The hostess followed my friend and interrupted our hellos to tell her if it were the weekend she wouldn’t be seated being 10 minutes late. Aside from this woman, the place is lovely and the food is good.
Still wounderful in every way!
Enjoyed the cozy, friendly vibe. Outstanding spicey Bloody Mary, Quahog, and onion soup!
Adored this cozy place. Small but absolutely perfect in every way.
Food, drinks and service - OUTSTANDING! ♡
Still wonderful every year! Crab sandwich and special summer salad. Delicious!

A wonderful little place you need to make a reservation we got lucky when we can access this little gem.
The hostess told us not to leave a message on the machine as she may not check her messages for a few days. She also messed up our reservation a few times. Last Friday, she just was plain rude! I messaged the owner Heidi via FB, and then emailed her again about the situation, but I did not get a response. Now, I decided to go public with a bad review.
We recently moved to Woodstock, and have already visited EFH several times, sometimes 2-3 times a week. The food has always been good, except one time which we found a hair in our salad. Although, we have been there many times already, the hostess is unorganized and sometimes downright rude. To the point it makes us feel unwelcome. There are other great restaurants in the area.
It seems like the owner doesn't care that the hostess is rude to customers because there are so many bad reviews going back many years!

I don’t normally write negative reviews but felt compelled to based on our experience. We arrived a few minutes early from their opening time and was rudely greeted saying ‘we don’t open for 10 more minutes”. Would have been nice if they explained that nicely and offered us to have a seat outside (which we already knew we were early and planned to sit out front). The restaurant was charming inside and out. But the blinds were filthy. Our table was sticky. The appetizer we had was good. Most of us liked the food although my truffle fries were cold. The curry chicken salad was ‘okay’ but the roll it was on was very hard which made it hard and messy to eat. I asked to have my leftovers wrapped and told the waitress about the fries so she knew for future. I guess she misunderstood me and thought I didn’t want them so she threw them away. She did offer to make more but we didn’t have time. Took almost an hour for us to get our sandwiches and service was slow. They also charged my friend a higher price than what the menu listed for her burger.
Always good food, good service, good atmosphere! Went for a girls lunch and spent 2 hours! We were never rushed and our lunch was exellent.
Wonderful food and drinks. But more than that, an amazingly high customer service standard. We were there for lunch and asked to take home half of a sandwich. While boxing it up, our server accidentally dropped the box. After desert, as we were paying our bill, she presented us with a whole freshly made sandwich in a take home box, and discounted the charge for the other sandwich we had enjoyed but not finished. This was not discussed or requested- just a kind gesture which meant a lot! You will enjoy the warmth of the atmosphere and you will love the delicious food, but knowing you are being welcomed by such nice people is really special.
Wicked lobster rolls. We started with the kung Pao brussel sprouts, stuffy, and clam chowder. All worthy of getting some to take home. Then the lobster rolls were the main attraction and they didn’t disappoint and were a crowd pleaser. The farmhouse burgers were good, but overcooked and not nearly as good as everything else. We finished with cheesecake, bread pudding and key lime pie. Tasty! The decor and service could make mediocre food taste great. We loved it all and would highly recommend it to everyone. Great place.
Excellent all the way around. Very small but cozy place. Will definitely be back.

Elizabeth's Farmhouse was a wonderful surprise tucked away in a mill district. The decor was terrific. At 2 pm this place was buzzing. It's a bit tight and the restaurant was packed indoors--so a bit loud. The food was delish. Chowder and RI stuffie was everything promised. Finishing touch on all the selections did not go
unnoticed. The dessert menu sounded very tempting, wishing we had caved on that. Hope to return.
Delicious lunch with excellent, friendly service. Cute unusual atmosphere, lots of seating options. Everything made in house, wish I had sampled dessert.
First time visitor today, joined one of my brother's to treat my dad for Father's day. Small place, but has a ton of charm packed into it. Our waitress was awesome, even politely laughed at my dad's vintage dad jokes. I loved my chowder, and they loved their stuffies as appetizers. The cocktail menu looked awesome but I couldn't day-drink today, next time for sure. All thumbs up on the Raceway Burger, steak frites and meatloaf & mashed potatoes wrap. The desserts sounded delicious, but having appetizer and a sizeable burger and fries, that will have to wait till next time too. Hoping weather is good for our next visit as it looked cool.
We were there to celebrate my son's 8th grade graduation. The temperature in the restaurant was perfect. A few of us had drinks and they were delicious. A few of us had stuffies, best stuffed clams I've had. Everybody's entree was fantastic. I wish I remembered the waitress name but she was wonderful. Great experience!!!
We had an incredible meal here. The food was out of this world good. The atmosphere and service were also excellent. Definitely worth a visit!
