This was my first time here and I must say I am very pleased with everything. I ordered the crab Rangoon appetizer and the Thai fried rice with chicken. It was probably my favorite dish I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend coming here!

Menu is a blend of Asian cuisines more than Thai. Basil fried rice had a burnt flavor profile. On this trip, our first, service was slow even though the restaurant was not full. However, other people in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals.

This place is legit. In the Quiet Corner and on the Eastern side of CT for that matter, there isn’t a lot of great Thai or Asian restaurants. Many of them seem to be the same recycled stuff. Not this. The basil fried rice wasn’t sticky and didn’t have that crappy steamed taste or consistency to it. It was legit fried. It had very good flavor and the right amount of heat (spice). I didn’t my ask them to dial the heat up or down. The crispy pork egg rolls were excellent. Again, great flavor and perfectly crispy outside. And they give you 4 small ones in an order, which is perfect portion wise. I also did Crispy Chicken Basil and was impressed as well. The location is perfect, right off 395, so no downtown Putnam shenanigans and the place is clean and well kept. Staff was courteous and friendly. We ordered and it was ready two minutes after I walked in to pick up. We live 25 minutes away, so great timing and prep. Will definitely be back.
The food was wonderful and I really enjoyed.the duck curry and pineapple fried rice the most. I felt the mixed appetizer left room for improvement but was still tasty. Plating could probably improve this dish a lot. One woman was taking all orders. She was very efficient and friendly but a lot for one person to tackle. I really liked all 5 dishes we tried and would recommend this place
