This was my first time here and I must say I am very pleased with everything. I ordered the crab Rangoon appetizer and the Thai fried rice with chicken. It was probably my favorite dish I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend coming here!
Menu is a blend of Asian cuisines more than Thai. Basil fried rice had a burnt flavor profile. On this trip, our first, service was slow even though the restaurant was not full. However, other people in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals.
This place is legit. In the Quiet Corner and on the Eastern side of CT for that matter, there isn’t a lot of great Thai or Asian restaurants. Many of them seem to be the same recycled stuff. Not this. The basil fried rice wasn’t sticky and didn’t have that crappy steamed taste or consistency to it. It was legit fried. It had very good flavor and the right amount of heat (spice). I didn’t my ask them to dial the heat up or down. The crispy pork egg rolls were excellent....
