Painted Baker Cafe is a charming spot with a cozy atmosphere and beautifully crafted baked goods. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made, from the pastries to the coffee. It’s the perfect place to slow down, treat yourself, and enjoy something truly special.

At a place like this on the weekend the only thing that matters is a good door person. Of course there’s so many more things that do matter like the kitchen staff and the customers however without a good captain, the ship goes to drift. Obvious Lee Lizzie is the captain of the ship and she steers it with grace.

Also, shout out to the owner, or other staff who liked my Ireland hat. Erin go Bragh.

I had one of the best omelettes I have had in a long time. It was a build your own with veggie sausage, tomato and green onions and cheddar cheese. The homefries were caramelized and yummy. Coffee was good, service was outstanding and the retro/space age decor is perfect. Will be going back for sure.

Only place I go to for breakfast. Best pancakes around, awesome lunch menu too. I love the entire staff but Jaime always goes above and beyond ❤️

Best breakfast ever! We stumbled upon this hidden gem in Putnam, CT by accident and have been coming ever since. Today I had the best pumpkin pancakes I’ve ever had. Our waitress Jaime was awesome. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

If you are looking for a breakfast place that serves GF options this is the place for you. They have exceptional customer service, and are knowledgeable about celiac/GF. Shout out to my waitress, Jamie, she was fantastic and made me feel comfortable dining there.

So my wife can't eggs . So she always gets a BLT for breakfast wich I understand. So she wanted avocado on her sandwich but that was only for lunch time wich starts at 11. We'll she tries to order her sandwich with avocado but because it was not 11 they where not happy about the request. Mind you at the moment it was 10:55. 5 min from lunch time . I like the place and atmosphere but the owner was not very nice about the situation amd after that happened I feel like they ignored us the rest of the time we where there . Love taking my wife out for breakfast but ill never go here again

Food is well prepared. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The bread choices are great and top notch. I know thats a random thing to say but I get toast with my eggs and was expecting just some cheap bread like usual, but they have Rye, Sourdough, Multigrain and the white bread is actually a fresh Italian bread. They dont seem to skimp on the little things at all.

In fact, thats basically what makes them very different and why we keep going back. I have a four year old daughter and they have a kids menu of course, the kids menu has things to draw and mazes on it, but they also bring an entire sheet of stickers, an extra sheet of colored paper and a FULL box of crayons. My daughter is used to just the 2 crayon colors and some napkins to doodle on. This blew us away and now has ensured my daughter only wants to go here for breakfast from now on. With the quality of the food, im ok with that.

Thank you for making some well thought out menu items, really going the extra mile for the kids and families going out to eat, and making it fun and unique. Ill have to take some pictures next time.
