Reasonable prices for top shelf food. The grinder buns were the best I've ever had. Pizza and grinders delicious. Staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful. Can't wait to return!

Nice cozy restaurant/pizzeria in a small town setting. We ordered a small pizza (8 slides) and a mixed pasta offering: for 2 adults and 1 hungry 8 year old, it was plenty.

August 2024 Lakeville, CT - Really delicious chicken parm half grinder cut into two quarters, which was appreciated and both were eaten. Great bread, which is often ignored in reviews. $8.50 plus tip for $10. dollars in total.

We anticipated a great experience after seeing this restaurant featured in Reader’s Favorite but were beyond disappointed. My wife and I stood at the entrance for nearly five minutes waiting to be acknowledged by two different waitresses at which point we went inside to ask for a booth and sat in one that was suffering too many years of use as the coverings were used up long ago. At that point, we noticed an empty outside table and asked if we could go there but waited twenty minutes(verified from our photo time-stamp). When we asked if someone could take our order, a snotty waitress declared it was not her table but would take our order. We ordered shrimp and a pizza and after a long wait, the cocktail shrimp arrived very warm. We mentioned this to the waitress who fired back; “I watched it come out of ice”. I told her I wasn’t going to argue about it as “We’ve been around a long time and know the shrimp was warm”.
We tried to eat it but couldn’t and told her this. The attitude then became hostility and she snatched the plate and said; “You aren’t interested in this”. I wasn’t granted the opportunity to finish my sentence that I planned to bring it home. The pizza was below average. I’ve had better frozen pizza.
This same waitress never brought the remaining shrimp to us but asked if she could plunk down the neighbor’s dirty silver pizza tray on our small table!! She then did just that. Disgusting and wrong practice.
Our bill came and the shrimp was charged to it. I found her and said the shrimp was charged to us despite the fact she threw it in the garbage. Her attitude-laden reply was; “YUP.” I stated there was no way I was paying for it and was not given the opportunity to finish my thoughts earlier. She sent out a tattooed person who arrived with a sneer, attitude and stood with her arms crossed without looking at me. So disrespectful…
She did take it off the bill but we left without leaving a tip and we tip 22% as a rule. It’s only the second time in my long life when I haven’t left a tip.
My aunt was a waitress and I know how hard she worked so I err in staff’s favor.
Please avoid this place as management and/or the owner must be clueless and difficult to work with as they don’t see how many details need attention both in personnel and property.

Mizza's Pizza was a wonderful find! The pizza had the perfect crispy crust, and the Albanian salad was so fresh and flavorful. The carrot cake for dessert was absolutely delicious, with decadent flavors that hit the spot.
The restaurant had a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere that made dining there so lovely. The wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring our table had everything we needed.
