I went here for lunch with a friend and had a very good meal it was my 3rd time. My server was granite and just started but did a great job. The owner/manager came over and spoke with us for a bit, very cordial. I've seen some negative reviews and figured I'd post my positive experiences.

Went here for dinner and drinks Sunday night.. drinks were bad, awful service. Waited almost 40 minutes for a lobster roll the waitress never even put in. Within that time she never even checked in with us.

This place is fantastic in the summer. Many people drive past the spot never realizing there’s a cool bar and restaurant in the back of the parking lot. Located right on the shores of the Housatonic river. It really is a cool vibe. The food is good, same owners as the route 67 diner which is usually “hit or miss.” They try to do a little bit more of a summer hangout menu with lobster and other beach type of items. The bottom line is, if you are looking for a unique place that has a very summer feel to it you will not be disappointed .

tonight was the first and last time i will be going to dock 34. my friends constantly rave about this place so i decided to give it a try. the drink i got was on their drink list. simple strawberry lemonade w/ vodka. it was decent. my friends orders apps. they came also decent. the sever came over maybe 3x thats alot honeslty. we ordered a main course. we waited and waited every one around us got their food .... she came over and asked hows it going we asked about our food and she looked at her notepad dumb founded she clearly never put the order in. she just asked if we still wanted it. after waiting 45 mins no we didnt still want it. we left. the service here was definitely not great. i would hope for the busy summer they hire help that actually wants to work and not girls who want to flirt with all the guys there.

The owner's treated us wonderful on mother's day.... It was a packed house.... and all the food was delicious.!!

Took over an hour to get our food. After waiting 20 minutes for drinks. Food finally comes out except not all of it. Took an additional 10-15 minutes to get the kids meals which candidly should have been the first thing out. Then another 5-10 minutes for a chicken wrap. Management stood at hostess stand and did not address with anyone waiting. At times they even waved down waitress that were already running around to bring simple things (take out boxes, silverware, etc) to tables. Waitstaff apologized that they were overwhelmed in the kitchen. It was Mother’s Day and a 70°+ Sunday - for a restaurant on the river they should have been prepared.

Food is decent some things are really good like the Quesadilla and salads. But the view and summer vibe is excellent. Live music is a huge plus

We had been talking about trying this spot for months. We finally went today during what we thought would be a less busy time with faster service but was the total opposite. Food was good. The view is great very peaceful. But we got sat down at a table and waited 30 minutes for someone to come take our drink order in which you're waitress did apologize said it was a "miscommunication" it wasnt at all busy. We gave the benefit of the doubt at first but appetizers took another 30 minutes to come out but they were nice and hot and very good. Waited another 45 minutes for our waitress to come take our food order. Waited another 20 minutes for our drink order which my husband went and asked for it at that point. Our waitress was busy sitting and on her phone. The busboys and hostess were great though.

My 1st time at Dock 34 and it won't be the last! Excellent service and food. I really enjoyed the Dock 34 burger with sweet potato fries. While sitting outside you get to relax and enjoy the view of the Housatonic river.

Wonderful looking place, wonderful view of the river, chicken wings and burgers that are absolutely awesome, and the bartender Mary is a great laugh and Lady. 10/10 will be going again
