So we stopped there cause my friend was buying a car from someone and that's the parking lot they choose to meet. I've never even been to that part of CT before. I had the chicken quesadilla, OMG the chicken was seasoned and cooked amazingly. The tortilla was toasted perfectly (and it was huge) great overall meal. My friend had a couple different tacos which he said were amazing. Even our waiter was friendly, willing to give his preferences, he would check on us to make sure we were good. Haven't had good experiences for awhile now so this was a nice change. Hopefully I'll have a reason to visit that part of CT so I can stop there again. Definitely worth the time to check out.

Been here 3 times, food was great every time but loses a star because the best is the rin con du soleil place in norwalk, staff are always friendly and prompt, atmosphere whether on the patio watching the sunset or at the bar watching the games and news is a great way to unwind and relax

I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga with sides of sour cream, hot sauce, guacamole, and pico de gallo—sauces are a must for me. But honestly, the Chimichanga didn’t need anything extra. It was perfectly crispy and flavorful on its own. Alomg with the rice and beans, the meal was plentiful, so much so that I had to share. For dessert, I got an Apple Chimi, and it did not disappoint. Imagine fried dough meeting apple pie filling—delicious! I tried it both warm and cold; it was good either way, but warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream? Pure bliss. The delivery was quick, and the food arrived crispy, not soggy.

I ordered the beef fajitas and the beef was tough and flavorless just like the rice and refried beans. I will not be returning

Great food and customer service. We ordered ahead of time for a happy hour and the food was made hot and fresh.

They also accounted for vegetarian options.

Barbacoa tacos and quesadillas were a fan favorite. Highly recommend for anyone hosting a happy hour at the Armored Cow.

This is one of the only restaurants that has stayed open in that location and there is a reason. The food is good, prices are in line with the quality/quantity of food. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They have probably one of my favorite salsas that I've tasted as compared to other Mexican restaurants.

For the true authentic Mexican food lover I would say this is more tex-mex. So just keep that in mind.

The have entertainment usually on the weekends and the place transforms into a little hotspot at night.

Food is great, but they get quickly overwhelmed by a small crowd. We recently went there and never got our food.

Went on the busiest day of the year, Cinco de Mayo, and yes it was PACKED. Stuffed to the gills. But even still it seems like management had the situation under control and all hands were on deck. Must have seen almost 30 staff running around helping customers. Despite having more than 50 tables taken up, we were seated immediately without a reservation and our food came out in less than 20 minutes.Food was very good -- hot, fresh, prepared correctly. "Authentic Mexican" isn't the first term that comes to mind, but I don't see them bill themselves as that. They are a well run tex-mex eatery with tons of affordable options that all come out as you expect.Kudos to the team for working so hard on such a challenging night and making our night that much more enjoyable!
