Housatonic House in Ansonia was such a wonderful experience for my son’s birthday dinner! The staff here are hands down some of the kindest, friendliest people EVER. They went completely out of their way to make my son feel special on his birthday, and that level of care meant so much to us. You can truly tell they treat their guests like family.

Enjoyed a good meal at Housatonic House for Mother’s Day. The staff was overwhelmed as they’ve only been open a few weeks. and there were many ‘kinks’ in their system, but the owners were accommodating and have a plan in place to make this a premier restaurant and bar. We’ll definitely be back and are excited to see Housatonic House continue to grow into what’s sure to become a great local spot for food, drinks, and community.

April 2026 Had our first meal of the season..Micky was great very warm and welcoming!! Our waitress Allie was wonderful very attentive.. Had the fish and chips … light, flaky not at all greasy!! Absolutely delicious!! Thank you !! Hats off to the chef
