When the restaurant was open a month ago, my fiancé and I went there to eat, and we really enjoyed the food… but this restaurant closed a week ago. We were waiting for them to call us back about a rehearsal lunch and nothing about them closing was mentioned...?!?!? Not even a courtesy call so we could look at other restaurants while we waited. I drove by the other day and noticed there was a realtor sign saying the lot was available.

Visited on Wednesday night. There were only 4 patrons at the bar. My husband, son and I were seated in the dining room, the patio was closed due to the rain that day. When we ordered a cheeseburger for my son we were told that he couldn't have it because we were sitting in the dining room and burgers are only served in the bar area or the patio. I was stunned! I asked the bar tender, since there restaurant was pretty much empty, can you pretend that we're seated at the bar (just a few feet from where we were), he said, I don't make the rules. So we had to get up and move in order for my son to have his cheeseburger.

Stone's Throw has great indoor and outdoor seating and a good menu to enjoy the view. The food is Pubby with a plenty of healthy options. Serve on the patio can be slow at times ...

Entrees were spot on. The salmon and leg of lamb were cooked perfectly and presentation was impressive. We ordered the blueberry crisp as a nice ending to a beautiful meal. Weather was perfect to dine outdoors also.

Had the salmon burger and meat and cheese sampler. The quality of this food is superb! Beautiful setting, if the weather is nice you should take advantage and sit outside. Wait staff and hostess were incredibly professional and attentive. Lovely spot, thanks so much.

We had the calamari which was so different but delicious. It was Panko coated and fried perfectly. The dipping sauce was unique but yummy. Connor was our server and excellent. Answered all our questions and was upbeat and professional. Definitely check this restaurant out!!
I'm sad to share this review. I've had great experiences here in the past. Although the food isn't 5 star dining I always thought its pretty good and worth it for the beautiful location. It was also pretty kid friendly especially outside.

Despite some negative reviews on Yelp we rolled the dice and decided to give the restaurant a try. We sat on the outdoor patio in a Sunday afternoon. Had some drinks (which were strong but there's nothing wrong with that) and some burgers and tacos all of which were very good. Their fries were good as well. The view is a nice compliment. They should have some happy hour to go along with their live music to entice more of a crowd. We would go back again.

Nice location. Sat outside and watched the boaters and kayakers go by. Enjoyed clams casino and a burger. Both excellent. Definitely would recommend.

Great service. Great location (parking can be tight). Very generous with the lobster on the hot lobster roll on the Tuesday night lobster special but I think the lobster Mac n cheese was a bit more satisfying. The side salad with the lobster roll was small and slightly wilted. That could be improved.
