Sad to see how limited this location is compared to how Oxford was. Also sad to see the same underwhelming rude staff and owner haven’t changed. Since the food is now subpar it’s just not worth it to walk in there and be treated like you’re such a bother to them.
10/10, every time all the time. Me, my mom, and my sister try to go at least every other month. We always get The Afternoon Tea (plus an extra pot). Last time we went, the owner got to talk with us a little. Guess what, her name is Tracy. She is the Tracy you have tea with. And they are also super cool, they have a tea that always sells out so every time we've gone, I wasnt able to buy it and bring home. This time, I called and asked for them to hold onto one for me, and they did. My mom and sister made fun of me for geeking out.
First time posting for Seymour, so consider this an update from the former branch. This is their home base, so worth the trek though
What a great tea shop! The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly and helpful and their tea selection is to die for. It's become one of our favorite date spots.
ETA: Years later, it's just as good! ☺️
Nice atmosphere but very expensive for what you get. Food ok, but not worth prices.
I don't usually leave bad reviews for restaurants unless I've had a really bad experience or encountered exceptionally poor service and rude staff. I have been a loyal customer at Tea with Tracy in Seymour for many years. I went for tea with my friend here this week, as we so often do. Our server was Tracy, the owner. While taking our orders she seemed somewhat agitated and unfriendly. When she returned with the food, my order was incorrect and the new dish I received was unappetizing. After taking a bite of the egg salad sandwich which was very nasty, I respectfully informed her that the egg salad had too much mayonnaise. She only replied, “that’s because I made it quickly” as if that was the reason why the sandwich was overly dressed in mayo.
Despite bringing these issues to the attention of our server Tracy(again the owner of this establishment), there was no effort made to rectify the situation or make it right. I just paid the full bill and left hungry.
To make matters worse, as I completed the payment transaction, she had the audacity to ask me in a stern voice, “did I leave a tip on the table?” I looked at her in disbelief, and she AGAIN repeated and held up my payment slip saying, “I noticed that you didn’t check off for a tip on the receipt, so did you leave a tip on the table?”
I have worked as a waitress in my past jobs and I have compassion for servers and I always, always left a tip even if the service was not up to par. However, after hearing those words come out of her mouth, the display of tip shaming and poor service, you can bet she didn’t get a tip and I will never visit that establishment ever again!
Overall, my experience was EXTREMELY unpleasant and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone anymore. I am so disappointed in the lack of respect and decorum from the owner. Save your money and go to any other tea house for a better dining experience.
Went here to celebrate a bride to be! This place was such a cute place with everyone getting a different unique tea cup! I was hesitant going here with a gluten allergy and not seeing any gluten free options online. However, upon speaking with the manager I was pleasantly surprised to hear there options for me. Pictured I got their gluten free chocolate chip scone, GF bread pudding, and a frittata!
Looks aesthetic but the food is so bad. My friend and I got a tower but the scones were clearly stale and the dessert was doughy? Nothing tasted the way it should. By going here, you sacrifice quality food for a nice photo. Not worth it to me
The atmosphere is amazing the customer service is phenomenal
Wonderful! Food was delicious. Service was great
Couldn’t ask for a better shower here! It was beautiful!

I really wanted to like Tea With Tracy, but unfortunately, our visit left a lot to be desired. The biggest letdown? The scones — they were extremely dry, almost to the point of being inedible. For a place that markets itself around tea time treats, that’s a pretty big miss.
Adding to the frustration, you can’t even order the tea sandwiches à la carte, which is baffling considering they’re one of the only good things on the menu. Why limit access to your best item?
On a more positive note, the grilled cheese was surprisingly good, and the staff was friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. The tea itself, though, was just okay — not bad, but nothing special, especially for a place with “Tea” in the name.
Overall, there are better spots if you’re looking for a solid tea experience. This one feels like it’s relying on charm over substance.
Lovely time having tea with my friend at Tracy’s. Food was delicious! Loved the atmosphere. Service was good.
I HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR 150 VARIETIES OF TEA! ALSO THEYRE ALL DELICIOUS SO GOOD LUCK CHOOSING! THE OWNER IS REALLY NICE AND HOT TOO SO GOOD LUCK NOT BEING DISTRACTED! 10/ 10 EXPERIENCE!
Tea with Tracy was absolutely amazing. The service, the food, the desserts was all a delight. I will definitely be back soon.
Super fun store. Great finds in vintage jewelry, housewares, tools, etc. And the owner is friendly and helpful.
