Bought 3 ice creams in waffle bowl/ cones, all were stale.

We showed up at 6pm on a Saturday. It was completely dead and I’m pretty sure i figured out why! My husband went in and got a waffle cone for my daughter and I to split. $10 and it was stale! Overpriced and disappointed. Will not be back. Most places are cheaper with fresh items.
Response to the employee: You beg to differ? I’m telling you it was completely stale. I don’t mind paying for something that is good quality. I get frustrated when you charge that much for something so poor. It’s okay to have bad days, but seeing your responses to other people who do anything besides a 5 star review, you can’t hold any type of accountability. I was waiting in the car with my toddler, gave her some ice cream with the spoon first and I had some of the cone once he started driving. I wanted to turn around, but my daughter was getting cranky and at that point we couldn’t. With your attitude, I’m glad I didn’t go back. Owning a business you should know people aren’t always going to be happy. Acting extremely passive aggressive, all while acting like you know the whole situation isn’t a good look. Good luck.

The ice cream was good. The service was not. Staff was not friendly. 2 young females and a male I believed to be the owner. I might have chalked it up to everyone has a bad day BUT when my daughter was handed her ice cream and one of the two scoops fell to the ground and they refused to replace it I could not believe it. Horrible customer service. The place was not busy and I see why. I won't be back. I was there on Sunday June 9th around 3:40pm

The ice cream and shakes are very good. The staff was not very friendly, no thank you or word in general when checking out. Maybe an off day as the other reviews say differently. The atmosphere is unique beautiful old building. What ruins it is the signs everywhere saying not to touch anything and to watch your kids. Understandable that kids should not run around freely but they went a bit overboard on all the signs. Definitely takes away from the atmosphere and gives a cold vibe. Cash only is a bit inconvenient in today’s world. Prices are above average and they even charge 75 cents for a few sprinkles. Overall I will probably frequent other shops that are more welcoming and don’t nickel and dime you on toppings.
