A Tuesday, mid afternoon. Staff was uninterested, atmosphere was dim so it seemed a bit dirty. Large dumpster was filled to the top outside of the door. But the food was delicious! Mussels superb but should have come with bread to dip; two soft boiled eggs with salad and frites delicious. Small glasses of wine, water has a very odd taste and was served in small glasses no ice. A bit pricey and not great service. But would I go back? YES!!

What a nice surprise visiting Sharon. Stumbled upon this place and the food was wonderful. Really the best steak frites sauce I’ve ever had!

Serviceable, if not a bit underwhelming.

The first time we tried to eat at this restaurant last Saturday, I made a reservation. When we arrived, it was very busy and we were seated at an outdoor table. We were given menus and after 15 minutes no one had come to our table to give us water, take a drink order, or even communicate with us that they knew we were there and they would be with us shortly. So, we left and ate at another restaurant in town.

I went back again today for an early lunch, arriving around 11:30. There was only one other party in the restaurant when I arrived and I received prompt, friendly service. If I could give my two different service experiences separate ratings, this second experience would be higher than the three overall stars I gave. By the time I left 40 minutes later, the place was packed.

The food was decent. Fish was fresh and the burre blanc sauce it was cooked in were delicious. Potato gratin and green beans were okay. The lettuce in the salad served on the side was brown around the edges, so may have not been the freshest.

If you've never been, I would encourage you to try this place for yourself (just not during a busy time) and form your own opinion.

The food is the star. The service is a little disappointing. Never was brought the water we asked 3 different people for. Still worth a visit.

Arrived with a group of 8 and it was a busy day so I would like to be mindful of that. The restaurant itself is cute and clean with a nicely sized outdoor seating area. The problem for me was the service. I don’t know if it’s a “French thing” to neglect tables and bring food out at different times and bring drinks an hour after eating all your food but it just wasn’t it for me. The waiters weren’t even mindful of her fact the service was so bad. They weren’t rude but just unapologetic and remained slow throughout.

The food itself was fine. The wait made the food less appealing. I also got a brunch drink which was one of the first drinks put in and the last to come out. It was a ho chocolate beverage and was okay. I tried a friends Bloody Mary and it was good but I didn’t want to wait an extra hour to receive it.

The place is over priced and basic quality at best.

I have photos… maybe I’ll post add them to the review at a later date.

Stopped in for dinner before a dance party and was so pleasantly surprised! With cocktails we were served almost a whole loaf of fresh baguette. We shared fois gras, which was served with golden toast and lingonberry jelly. Entrées we tried were the duck breast, which was served au poivre style, and the zucchini gratin, which was much lighter and flakier than anticipated. Second entrée was salmon with frites, which came with a beautifully dressed light salad on the side. The frites are getting their own sentence, they were hand cut, thick and crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside! Finally, we tried the lentil side dish which again was so flavorful I’m considering asking for the recipe!! Service was perfect -attentive and warm. The owner mentioned a monthly dance party so we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Best kept secret in Sharon. We devoured the quiche and the croque monsieur and both were phenomenal. Run, don’t walk, to the best French lunch spot in CT! You will not regret it 😍

We've been here many times for lunch and breakfast. Authentic French dishes and some staff are also fluent. Coffee is great, service is fast, food is cooked to order.
Many French speaking patrons which speaks to the authenticity of the atmosphere and food.
