Terrible restaurant. Could hear the Owner yelling at his son. How would you like to be on my show “Kitchen Nightmares?!”

Also… Where did this comment go??? i saw it here before thought it was super insightful and everyone should see it.

Lovely french bistro.
My third time here, once for coffee and hot chocolate, once for lunch and now dinner.
started with a steamed artichoke, lovely herb vinaigrette/aioli? dip. My wife had the duck confit, she was delighted came with french beans and fingerling potatoes and some lovely butter lettuce with vinaigrette. I had the cod with ratatouille and the same butter lettuce, the cod had a subtle buerre blanc and was perfectly cooked. We shared the potato gratin, which was also wonderful. very light touch with salt and the flavors were well balanced.
It was a delight, we'll be back

I don't think I have ever experienced service quite so terrible from a supposedly high end restaurant. Our server was very clearly inexperienced and couldn't answer questions about the menu, the food took over an hour to come, and when it did, one of the orders was wrong, and another was missing altogether. The staff did not seem to feel any urgency about the missing meal - it took another 40 minutes for that to arrive. The staff seemed to imply we were unreasonable for expecting all of the food we ordered to actually come (and we didn't order anything very complicated; mostly crepes.) Do not recommend.

It's a while since I've been to a French restaurant, so it was wonderful to have croque madame again. Great vibe and great service.

Absolutely fantastic food from start to finish. We were a table of 8 on Saturday afternoon and could not have asked for better service. The restaurant was crowded but they had our table ready and waiting. The cafe latte comes in a huge steaming cup/bowl. The croque monsieur was the most impressive one we’ve ever seen. The tuna niscoise can with a piece of perfect cooked tuna on a bed of glistening Bibb lettuce and other greens. Service was excellent.
It may look unassuming from the outside but the food is anything but!

Our first experience at Le Gamin in Sharon. Welcomed by Fran our server who explained their current participation in Restaurant Week and their special very affordable set menus for the event. We dined part off that menus and part off the standard seasonal menu. Starters French Onion Soup and Escargot = both just outstanding! Salmon main was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sides excellent ! Their salad dressing...we WANT that recipe ! Perfectly balance and so tasty ! The Pork Chop was an experience to remember...THE best we have EVER had and we are not young!! Cuisson ordered of that was medium rare and was perfect! MASSIVE portion of locally farmed organic pork! Taste and seasoning needed NO enhancing! The Potatoes au Gratin ...easily 40-50 super thin slices, buttery cheesy and delicious. Excellent wine list. Desserts a must have adventure to..Ile Flotant was divine..Bread Pudding ..get ready for a unique presentation and savoury taste bud memory maker. Chef Robert Arbor even came by to chat, as we are from Montreal and fluently bilingual (in our Quebecois French that is) we enjoyed a flip back and forth conversation in both languages. What an engaging, professional articulate true gentleman! Shall we go back...yes this morning for breakfast and their signature Crepes and Croissants and .... Highly recommended for anyone travelling the area, living near by or even take a day trip adventure culminating with breakfast / lunch / dinner as the are open 9AM to 9 PM.. Bravo tom the team at Le Gamin and especially Chef Robert ! Merci de Montreal Suzanne et Terry !

Wonderful food, pleasant and accommodating staff. Good atmosphere.

Kid-friendliness: The outdoor dinning seems very accommodating for children.

Stopped in for lunch. We sat outside which was lovely. The server was serviceable. The food…. Nicoise was fine-tuna was well seared and fresh and good. The quiche Lorraine was an abomination - seemingly microwaved to reheat, soggy, filled with fatty bits of ham…and a side salad with beautiful greens covered in “worms” of some coagulated something I guess was dressing out of a squirt bottle. I don’t know - I covered it with my napkin so I didn’t have to see it.
