Enjoyed visiting my old hometown and enjoying a nice meal at Abigail's. Great setting, love the history, and the food & company were excellent.

While Abigail's is one of my regular haunts. Service was way off for a Sunday night. My guest ordered a steak with a side of broccoli but received broccoli rabe...and no steak knife. The Salmon I ordered medium rare because I hate dry fish...came dry and cooked thru. Not one of my better meals. I don't recall the server even coming by to ask how dinner was. She did come by for the appetizer which was very good. Also the busboy failed to come and clear away the prior course. We put it to the side and if was still there when we left I think the staff needs training!!! For $171 for dinner for two service should live up to that price

Recently went there to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary. The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. Will definitely be going back again.

I can’t say enough about our experience this evening. Came to Abigail’s to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary and had an amazing hostess name Sofia. She greeted us and made sure we had the same exact table from 35yrs prior. She interacted with our daughter like no one ever has. Told her about the ghost and walked her around the restaurant. We were even surprised with an anniversary dessert which was not expected at all. The entire staff is amazing and our experience far exceeded anything we ever expected.

A once wonderful place to eat has gone downhill. We had the brunch my son in law had to send his back as the steak was so rare when he ordered medium rare. Bloody Mary was not good. I ordered the chocolate cake for dessert but took it home and when I tried it it was the worst chocolate cake I have ever had not to mention there were a couple of blueberries in with it that must have fallen off someone’s plate and it was just plopped in a container like a heap of garbage. The French toast and sausage were the only good part of the meal. Very disappointed.

I'm so thrilled to discover this gem! Our children recently moved to Avon and we've been exploring the food scene in the area. Honestly, Abigail's has totally exceeded our expectations! Taylor was our server. She was knowledgeable, efficient and extremely pleasant. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly. The bolognese was wonderful as well, meaty with a light-as-air pasta. So good! Thanks Abigail's! We'll be back soon!

This place is fantastic! The cocktails were delicious and they had seasonal offerings. The veal was perfect and the salmon was tasty. Service was great and thankfully this restaurant was open on a Monday. In this area of Simsbury many are closed on Mondays.

Such a great dining experience! Ambience is perfect, we have dinner inside and out and both are perfect. Server's are personable and quick. Abigail's is one of my top ten restaurants to enjoy.

Dinner was very good. Scallops and salmon delish. Lamb was tasty but a little tough. Veal chop was undercooked. Servers were helpful and pleasant. Atmosphere and noise level excellent. Will definitely return.

I had my wedding reception here and it couldn't have gone any smoother! The staff was amazing and their helpfulness was very satisfying! The food was also great, I had the chicken and it was tender and fresh! I definitely recommend Abigail's!

I visited this restaurant three times over the years. Once with friends at the bar and it was good. About a year ago for Sunday morning brunch on the patio and it was absolutely perfect! And last week we had dinner upstairs with family and it was very very good! The drinks are always delicious, although their beer menu is a bit limited. Everyone was pleased with their meal.

Abigail's is a great place when you want a nice dinner out and you feel like it is a special dinner out. The staff is wonderful and everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. My husband uses a walker and we were worried about how we'd move about but everyone there was very helpful and we felt comfortable. The food was delicious but the strawberry shortcake was a little dry and hard. That's the only thing we were not happy with.

Abigail’s is one of our go to places for dinner on a weeknight! Always enjoyable!
