Had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner 2025. Food, service, timing, all was wonderful.
Server was great. Kitchen staff was terrible. Bistro Burger ordered well done. Arrived rare. Sent back and returned mostly pink. Seriously? Too difficult? I'm sure McDonalds is hiring.
Excellent experience for a nice anniversary dinner. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. Will be back again soon!
Server seemed annoyed that we asked to change tables because ours was wobbly. Felt off after my harvest salad and ended up getting sick the next day.
Abigail"s has been in Simsbury for some time. It has excellent fod and service. We sat in the new section which has sunlight. We orded the prix fixe lunch and the three of us enjoyed our choices. The soups and salad were great as well as the cod and steak. Our desserts were very good. None of us normally oder dessert but are glad we did. Service was good and unobtrusive. We recommend this restaurant.
Always a wonderful experience. Great service, food, experience. Has become our favorite restaurant.
Had a fantastic time at Abigail's. The ambiance for dinner was classy and cozy. The service was good, wasn't rushed and the food was fantastic as well. Definitely a place that we would go again.
Excellent as always. Please bring back red fish novlelle and or salmon to the dinner prix fixe menu options.
Our server, Jamie, was very helpful when I gave him my food allergies. He checked with the chef on my brunch choices to make sure there wasn't a problem. There only had to be one alteration and it was minor.
Had a nice birthday dinner here without the kids. Filet mignon was good. So was the creme brulee.

Good food and great service
This was a first-time visit for the 4 of us. It was our daughter's birthday. We told the restaurant, but no piece of cake or candle. We have been to the sister restaurant, the Mill on the River in So. Windsor, and have had wonderful meals and service there. The menu here is much more limited. It is a very charming place, and it was full. Service was very, very slow. The server was pleasant enough. We waited the longest time to place our drink orders. It took a long time to get our food. This is the biggest complaint we had. I had the shrimp and scallop fra diavolo, which was fine. My wife and our daughter-in-law liked their risotto and seafood dishes. The birthday girl ordered the surf and turf, and I thought the steak portion was on the small side. The colossal shrimp cocktail was excellent, as was the crispy pork belly. We did not get dessert. In summary, the atmosphere is nice, but we prefer the Mill on the River more.

Nice place. Came for a weekend lunch. The place is fairly large and other then a party in a separate room it was not overly crowded or loud. The ambiance in the room we were in was fairly basic but the large windows made it nicer. Service was not overly attentive but we were not rushed. The service was very friendly overall. As for the food the mussels were said to be deliicious but did not come with any bread to soak up the delicious sauce. When asked toasted bread (they even offered with cheese) was quickly provided and it was perfect. French onion soup was very good although on of ours was burnt on the top with not a lot of bread or cheese but the broth was tasty. Their Chicken francese they make as more of a pasta dish (as listed on the menu) but it wasn't my favorite version of the dish. The croissant bread pudding was rich but really delicious - I recommend sharing this. Margaritas were on point.

We were a four top sitting upstairs and our server was great. He brought us drinks and took our order. The food for 3 of us came but the fourth one didn’t show up until the others had finished eating. We looked for our waiter but we were told he left early. Then the manager came over with the fourth meal and apologized and walked away. No explanation and did not comp the fourth meal. We literally had to sit and wait for our friend to eat her entire meal. We will never go there again. Do better Abagail’s.
