I'd leave a mediocre review, but I'm scared of the frosty response that I'd get from the owner.

This restaurant is a local treasure. Great, hearty American food served with care by a family owned business. Very reasonable pricing, especially for hand prepared food & fresh ingredients. Very comfortable atmosphere with an amazing collection of Americana antiques & novelties on display on the walls & ceiling. One of my favorite places, so much the better I live close by.

A true town staple for over 50 years! Delicious food, warm family-friendly atmosphere, and outstanding service every time. Joe, the manager, deserves special praise — he always goes above and beyond to make visits memorable. One of the hardest-working managers around. Highly recommend for any occasion!
A fun, local restaurant, with very silly decor and a good eclectic menu. It has lots of comfort food, Italian food, and Greek food. I have always enjoyed my dinners there! I have been going there for many years, since well before COVID, and it continues to be a great place to go for dinner. It is a testament to the owner for how it continues to excel!

An absolute gem. Antonio’s is so comfortable and cool. The food is good. The portions are generous. The price is reasonable. And the service is on point. It doesn’t try to be some fancy place. It’s a great place to sit down and be with people and enjoy a meal.

Super weird decor and an interesting vibe on a Friday night. The food was pretty solid though, hit the spot for some good comfort food and our waitress was great. The older male server was a little bit gruff (threw some app plates on our table and ran off, then later returned with our meals and similarly just sorta dropped them and left). Not a big deal but not a busy night and it just felt weird.

This family friendly restaurant has tables, booths and lots of memorabilia to view while placing your order. The service is friendly and fast. The food arrived hot and delicious - we ordered a sole dish and veal parmigiana - both of which we can highly recommend. I would love to return here for another taste treat.
Dear Trip Advisor. Until I saw this recommendation of “Best Restaurants in Simsbury”, you were my “Go To” tool. I officially abandon you after seeing that Antonio’s was even considered. We refer to it as “That Horrible Place”. It’s fine if you have kids. That’s what it’s for. But the food is reminiscent of college cafeteria food. Pizza is appalling. And families with kids are loud and everywhere. I have 5 kids. All grown. This would have been something I “Put up with” every 6 months as a young dad. Fun for kids and easy for families. But the worst food in Simsbury. Sorry folks.
I’ve been going here since I was a kid! Their food is great and specials are always fun, creative and tasty 😊 Great gluten free options too!
I tried Antonios for the first time and ordered take out. First off, walking in I was greeted by such a friendly staff who were super helpful and happy to answer all of my questions and take care of my needs! I was late to pick up the order and had about 40 minutes after that until I was able to open the container that was still piping hot and try a bite of the Salisbury steak with mashed, demi-glaze gravy and seasonal vegetables which were zucchini and it was soooooo good!! The portion was huge so I had the rest for lunch the next day. The garlic bread that was served with it was fresh and perfect as well! I also asked for extra gravy on the side which they did not forget! It was a great experience and I look forward to trying other items on the menu and dining in next time. It looks like a fun spot! I can't believe i always drive by and never stop, I'm glad I stopped and will again!!
